"The Pearl" by John Steinbeck. It's a Beautiful folk tale explores good and evil in human nature. In this novel the pearl symbolizes man's nature his prosperity towards greed , and the struggle between good and evil .The moral of this retold folk tale seems to say that no good can come from man's desire to change his lot in life.

Lately I've been reading a lot of Dan Kennedy's stuff. I read his No B.S. Time Management book for entrepreneurs, No B.S. Direct Marketing and others. His Marketing To Rich People sounds like fun, so that comes next.

I get a lot out of his books and his no b.s. advice, but I don't worship Kennedy as the ultimate master of the marketing game. I fanned his FB page and checked the website that promotes his marketing courses. He said in his books that he makes it his business to constantly promote himself and his brand to keep the high paying offers flowing his way. I saw that he's got a very weak social media presence and I couldn't find a website about Dan Kennedy — the man and the marketer. In his books he said he hates email and sends faxes instead(!!)

I respect his accomplishments, but I feel he's lagging as far as the internet and he's not totally comfortable with it. IMHO, reading Kennedy gets you legacy advice, like reading Dale Carnegie's books.

just finished it, what a fantastic book! loved the chapters about diet + exercise and his conversational writing style. He also seems to be one of the few guys eho understand why affirmations work. Definitely worth the read

I just added a bunch of the books mentioned here to my amazon wish list. Thanks guys. Also, +1 for those reading Cashvertising, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, War and Peace, Lord of the Rings, 1984+Animal Farm, Art of War (studied like guerilla, not read), and The Lean Start Up.

I loved each and every one of those books. Zsaleem is in for a very hard to digest book, but well worth it. If you finish it, you will be happy with your time investment.

Right now, a bunch of ebooks on combining Evernote and GTD.

As far as real books, Ive been though 8 so far this year and have 60+ more to go. Finished up "think and grow rich" a few days ago
