@emp - Great results you have there man! Curious... What did you do to achieve those results in that amount of time? Intake, cardio, lifting?
I've hit the weights since I was 18 (32 now) and hit the gym twice a day (cardio morning / lifting evening). Those are good results for sure man! A lot of discipline and staying focused I am sure! You probably feel a whole lot better, more energy, more drive, etc.
Brian
Hi Brian.
Intake -
Just food, no supplements. I also don't hit myself over the head when it comes to diet. I eat relatively clean, lots of vegetables and try to watch the sweets.
Workouts -
3 times a week I do bodyweight training with the TRX
Fitnessanywhere.com |Home of TRX and Suspension Training, the original bodyweight training fitness tool, train with the best in class exercise equipment, fitness equipment - it looks like a gizmo, but sure is a very valid workout.
I also use sandbags from
Ultimate Sandbag Training System by Henkin Fitness for some more sweat. I usually do this mixed with the TRX workout - trust me, the 30lbs sandbag is hardcore enough, been mixing the 60lbs one into it lately.
2 times a week cardio - I only have 30-40 minutes as I do this durign lunch hour, so I push myself intensely. This is on cardio machines at university, where I work. Being able to ogle 20something sporty chicks is a bonus.
2 light recovery days - 1 time a week stretching, and walking (one hour) one day only walking one hour (with my baby son in his stroller)
Work
During the workouts, I work like crazy. I know I don't look like it (yet), but I kick my own ass harder than anything. After 40 minutes, I am literally drenched in sweat.
For an extra boost, try one espresso, unsweetened shortly before cardio. You'll sweat like a pig. :food-smiley-010:
You might want to try putting the cardio into extra days.
