WF Ghost Town?



Surprisingly.. there is still many of you, even the ones who claim they don't visit or haven't for years (you don't need to login or use the same ip to get tracked by us... just sayin) who do use the forum, mostly the bst services. Even with most transactions going on via FB or Skype, there is a constant stream of new and seasoned folks here.

I am kinda surprised myself.

There have always been other forums. StackThatMoney is pretty good, I like Green, he's a good guy. And then there are like a bunch of others that I can't remember all the names of. There's even the society one that all of my fanboys and traitors went to, but it gets less activity than here.

There's really no need to for threads like these unless you are so incredibly bored or are just being a dick for the sake of being a dick to even post it...

If it's dead.. leave. If it's not... leave. I mean, it's not required reading anymore and I have no plans to upgrade it anymore. It still packs a punch when it needs to and the tracking systems are better behind the scenes than anything I've ever seen privately or on the market to date. But I use that for my hedge fund/arb trading.

Personally I loathe logging into here. If it weren't for Brandon it would be dead and then some.

I dunno, use it for what you can and hopefully you get something good from it.. and if the day should arrive where you can give a link back or nod of respect in an interview, podcast or blog post that would be swell. But I don't expect any kind of loyalty anymore or good press ever again. Those days are quite behind us and it would be ridiculous for me or anyone to invest anymore time, effort and cash into this place.

Everything must come to an end.. someday this place will be one of those places.. but it's a nice reminder of the old days when the fun was plentiful, the lulz were community driven and the natives didn't resent me so terribly..... But I don't lose sleep over any of it.

.....so fuck off?

for those of us who actually know what a hedge fund is and understand the nuances of arb trading, please enlighten us on how you're keeping WF alive to assist you in those endeavors.

what's next, you're helping NASA? keeping Mother Teresa's good work alive?
