WF Blog Farm?

This is a priority to me - BUT as you may have noticed in another thread my wife and I have had a real upset in our lives.

I need to be off for a week or so to help the wife recover...

I'll update when I can.

In further news I am still building the server when I can.
 


I'd be interested in this. I have IP addresses and a few aged domains in a variety of niches to add to the mix.
 
I'm pretty confused what will be taking place... Round Robin? could someone explain this to me in retard terms? I probably have things to contribute.

The technical details are not fully developed yet - I've had some really great PM's from very skilled members of this forum that could make this thing cool as hell.

It will evolve over time. But for now - the simplest version (alpha/beta) will be something like this - number below for demonstration purposes only:

  1. 20 members join blog farm, each with 5 unique blogs running on 5 unique IP's.
  2. Each one of these blogs can publish via the ATOM publishing proocal using email. Each member provides to me the 5 secret email addresses used to publish to those 5 blogs.
  3. You are a member and you want to promote an offer with articles/whatever. You get your content ready and send it off to the Known/Public email address (123XYZ@blogfarm.com - or whatever)
  4. My server does the steps in the process flow chart above, figures out which blog to publish to (going through them all 1 at a time then repeating), and then sends an email to the appropriate secret email address
  5. The member is notified of the post. They'd be able to Google and find it anyway in short order, so the blogs domains should not be considered secret in and of themselves.
Think of it as your own private linking service. If you published 100 articles you'd have 100 unique IP's spread across a large number of C classes linking back to you - and if you did it right the individual posts/pages would only link to you.

I have quite a few unique ip's and some blogs I wouldn't mind trying this out on if you're still looking for people.

For everyone else - new server arrived - gotta work on the OS build but I've been working in the app on an inferior test server. Unfortunately the server sat outside in 10 degree F weather so it has to sit in it's box for a good 24 hours before I'm opening it.
