5 years old - Mom would take me to Sam's club. I would buy boxes of candy for $10 and re-flip candy bars on the playground for $20 profit.

14 yrs old - I had napster and a CD burner before everyone else. Instead of buying a CD for $$20, you buy a burnt one from me for $10.

21 yrs old - I was flipping Wii's like a boss. Buy it for $250, resell for $450 on Craigslist/eBay. The was a huge shortage of Wii's, and Christmas shot up the demand. You had to wait in line for 3-4 hours Sunday mornings to get some. Not me. I paid Mexican day laborers to wait in line for me in the morning and would cut in. Every week was an easy $700 in college.

22 yrs old - Can't get into specifics, but it involved ebay and China.

I been had.

+1 for burning custom CDs for kids at school. i knew about napster for a while before it became mainstream and Metallica got their panties in a bunch

also computer games. the money i made off championship manager every year was ridiculous. my younger brother took up the mantle by filling up ipods for cash.

also flipping cooper hockey helmets i bought on ebay to hurlers in my school. hurling is an indigenous irish sport where most irish-made helmets are shit.

Ever been approached in a shopping center parking lot by guys in a van trying to sell speakers?

That was a very interesting summer.

i sold candy in high school, i had a locker full of candy (i designed a tattoo for the disciplinary principal and i was a maid man my entire high school career). I bought boxes for $20, flipped for $40. it was like drug money. I even had a Stduent Governemt box to sell out of, people thought i was legit. Knocked out compeititors with a free airhead to all sales. (had $300 cash on me at all times, made over $150/day) After high school, bought cheap ounces bagged em up small, and slanged from my backpack and nike shocks around the hood - put a nigga through college with that one, haha. i slang leads now, ha.

Wouldnt mind getting into that ebay/china ordeal, haha.

bought up candy and gum for cheap from costco and flipped it for $1 a pop at school

started burning everything i could get my hands on for people at my school. all the girls wanted bootlegs of the latest chick flicks, all the guys wanted pr0n, games, and records.

in high school i made a good buck every quarter selling fake interim report cards / report cards. i also started getting really big into different scams.

now i just stick to what i do now and avoid trouble at all costs.

I used to TAPE record wrestling pay per views on my friend's descrambler then rent them out to kids at school for $10.

I switched after my mom found out about CD burning and was convinced I would get in trouble for copyright infringement for downloading. She was ahead of her time.

I haven’t ‘’hustled’’ at all yet in internet marketing but have in other ways before... below is a short portfolio lol

In school i used to sell my home made sandwhiches for £3.50 each which would then allow me enough money to buy a box of cigarettes which were roughly £2.20 at the time for a box of 10, I would then sell those cigarettes for 50 pence each which gave a return of £5 (good niche supplying ciggs to school kids who need them to be cool). I would also regularly sell customised sick notes to fellow students looking to ‘’get out’’ of sports or lessons i even once sold a spider that i caught in my bedroom at school for £4.50...

As I got older started selling class A drugs and weed to friends and associates, however those days are long gone now and i am not proud of that at all! So now I am aiming all of my marketing methods towards internet marketing now which I sometimes think of as cyber drug dealing lol

Too much Boondocks...

the best schoolyard hustle back when these things were popular.

5c for two at the comic shop, sold for dollars each, perfect intro to sales and persuasion as the card value really was equivalent to how hard you hyped it.
also, playboy pages outta the dad's stash for $5-10 per.

...been had milk monies.

Buying stuff on ebay for kids in middle school/early high school.

My parents set me up with a paypal and ebay account. I'd buy anything and everything my peers wanted - add on a 5-10% surcharge. They'd still be getting the goods for cheaper than the store.

BB Guns were big biz

bought and sold Everquest characters/platinum for a few thousand back in middle school...was actually pretty easy. people paid a lot of money for everquest characters cause the game was so damn hard to level up...I sold my level 60 with only decent gear for around $700.

Under 18: Telemarketing for magazines

After 18: Selling Bank Accounts for Businesses

Now: SEO/PPC + Technology Consulting / 33% Ownership of a contracting firm

never watched an episode of boondocks in my life, lol. I hate that anime shit. i make most of my $$ from wanna-be rappers paying me to make their mixtape covers, myspace designs, etc.

and you can better believe i bagged up and slung on foot, and most definitely - in my nike shocks hah.

you'd be surprised how many cop take downs there are because they "wait for you to get in your car" and just pull you over - less chance of running if your in a car. 90% chance you'll get away if your on foot and get a proper head start.

i bled enough in my hood before, done with all that shit now though.

p.s it's the athletic african america cops ALSO in his nike's that you have to worry about, they're usualyl faster than you. ha.

At the end of the day, it's important to keep it legal - it's not worth your time and money for someone to just come and take that away.

When I was like 13-14 , I setup my first paypal account and started boosting runescape accounts . I would play like 15 hours a day for a month then sell the account for $2,500+ . Also used to play craps at lunch and always used to slide the one die so I'd always win. Kids were too dumb to notice.

My father was a REAL hustler (was able to afford two duplexes in Manhattan during the 80's) and he never has any "war stories", he's literally only told me a few of the things he's done in his 10-15 years of hustling (minus one detailed memoir he had published under the guise of a novel after turning 50)... Point being I've noticed one thing about people really in the game:

Those who are in it don't talk about it, those who were in it don't talk about it... Let alone attempting to glamorize it and impress a group of strangers.

Just saying, if you did anything it probably wasn't much.
