VPN/private ip for adwords

So a few months ago I managed to get myself banned in adwords. Now I'm looking for a good vpn where I could get a private ip I'd be the only one using.

I just ordered blacklogic vpn but they said it'll take about 2 business days to get the account so I'm wondering if there's a better alternative that'd instantly activate my account.

I'm kinda in a hurry since I'm serving army and weekends are the only free time I get and I'd like to get some work done as fast as possible.

Also, since I'm new to vpns I'm wondering if they give you a special ip or is it shared with like hundreds of other users?
 


I have used strongvpn in past and can say only good things about them, they were instant setup. Not sure about unique ip only for you. You better ask them by yourself.

Just a quick question. If you use a vpn are you getting a new computer to just use adwords on? Can google still get the mac address of your computer when you are going through a vpn?
 
not a fan of vpn's like that, since you'll most likely end up in an ip range with all sorts of shady shit coming from it.

personally i'd grab an at&t cell phone and tether it if you're in the US. they own the entire 38.0.0.0 range and you're practically guaranteed to get a unique ip address every time.

unless google has software installed on your computer, they can't get your mac address. if you're really worried, install vmware or virtual pc
 
Why dont you just get a router and do mac address clone? Worked for me? just make sure you dont use adwords editor on same pc.

That's a horrible solution. And AT&T doesn't own the entire 38.*.*.* range, they own the 12.*.*.* range - 38.*.*.* is Cogent/PSI.

my mistake, it's 32.0.0.0 they own. in any case, care to expand on what's so bad about tethering a cell phone?

it's pretty simple to detect someone's true ip address behind a proxy/ssh because of the fact that flash doesn't proxy rtmp traffic. hulu does the exact same thing, and i'm pretty sure google could as well, if they aren't already.

MAC addresses are layer 2 and stay within the LAN. Like someone else said, no need to worry about this, but if for some reason, you are, install something to spoof your mac.

If you're that cautious, then disable flash.

Google banned one of my accounts (pending appeal), but I'm still running the same things out of an account in a linked MCC (now unlinked) from my same IP address.
 
Air card IP addresses are likely to get your account flagged. My first hand experience when I used a Sprint air card.
 
You could always just attempt to get a new IP assigned with your internet connection. Most connections have dynamic IPs, and it's fairly easy to get your ISP's DHCP server to give you a new address (if you have a cable modem, change the MAC address of the router attached - you might need to power cycle your modem afterwards).

If not, follow the advice of everyone above.

yeah, so does facebook for their ads, that's why you get loads of threads of newbies not being able to see internataional ads even though they're using a proxy.

i was shocked at how low level RTMP can go, wikipedia has a good writeup
 
I don't advertise on google but if I was in any of your shoes I would go pay $29 / month for a vps with a dedicated IP and remote desktop into that shit.
 
A proper vpn will redirect ALL traffic coming out of your computer or router if you set it up that way.
 
I think for some of us less tech savvy you guys would do a world of good to put together some kind of step by step tutorial on how to do all this crap. I'm freaking lost, I've not been banned from Google yet, but I've been warned and I'm sick of tip toeing around them so knowing how to do this VPN and MAC address hiding/shielding would be great. I would pay for a good guide.
