I am using slydial to send a personal thank you message to my new customer's voicemails, but it is a manual job and very time consuming. I'd like to be able to load a file each day that will send out a voicemail broadcast. For you guys who work with voicemails/IVRs, what service can you recommend?

your correct the auto dialer is dead. unless your calling a business or as stated you have written expressed consent to call you.
why dont you answer the post question, without giving your 'legal' opinion. I use CallFire: Cloud Telephony, Virtual Call Center and Voice Broadcast and they have been very good. easy to use, and easy to set up and copy campaigns....

It seems like asterisk is the better choice at the moment, for big and small business, is good since its open source and is used worldwide.
Asterisk is great for VoIP calls. But we're talking sending messages straight to Voicemail without actually doing the standard call-ring ring-potential human answer type of thing.
I'm not sure Asterisk is capable of that.
