Video Tour of Clickbooth's New Office

they got a 8 million dollar government grant from the stimulus package to build this office. You can find the press release about it if you search for it. Cool office.

A really fancy office doesn't make employees more productive/happy. They should spend that money on parties and activities outside the office.

Please never get an MBA or be in charge of any employees. Some people have families and would rather be with them than the people they work with all day long.

Here's why people have offices like that. It gets people that are on salary (read young kids just out of college or interns) to stay later hanging out and guess what they'll get more work done. Most work isn't (programming, marketing, etc) done sitting down at a desk it's done bouncing ideas off each other and working out thought / logic problems.

@crackpOt good point, I've worked some late nights in my dot com days but I mastered my foosball skills at the same time.

@jeffrey They don't have to get work done because they have an army of affiliate staff.

Kudos to Eric for creating the ultimate social networking building that's getting a ton of attention in the industry.

Serious Action

A more recent move than Lemp’s new house is IntegraClick’s new headquarters. In fact, earlier this year the company closed on a deal to buy two buildings totaling 79,000 square feet on 12 acres in north Sarasota County. IntegraClick is moving into the new space throughout May.

The purchase had two things going for it. One, IntegraClick got the buildings for $5.75 million, at least half of what it could have cost during the boom. Plus, tax-exempt bonds from a federal stimulus program run by Sarasota County financed part of the purchase.

CB is a front. They are moving HUGE amounts of crack-cocaine. I know a chick that used to work butt-naked in their cooking lab in the basement of the facility. Apparently they had Street Fighter II (Turbo) down there.

you know, one company with SOME moderate success would disagree with you...

you know.. Google?

They aren't successful because of their fancy office. And how do you know that they wouldn't be more successful with a different setup?

Look at apple... they don't even give employees free food at the campus even. The culture of the company is more important then all those toys and stainless steel fridges. People need to feel like they are doing something they like.

You can bounce ideas in a normal space.... you don't need to spend all this cash for a fancy office. I know some smaller network with way worse offices... doing way more creative stuff then CB.
