I simply stop the JV, I also stop trusting people too much. I would trust people with certain amount of money, but that's it. With marriage you trust people with your life. You put your head on guillotine, knowing they have every incentive to cut your head but somehow believing it won't happen.
The only reason why people still do that is because too many alternatives are illegal.
Child support laws have nothing to do with supporting any child. If the cost of raising a child is $400 per month, for example, child support laws required by government will be constant $400 per month irrelevant of how wealthy the man is. If the girl feel that getting $400 per month from a billionaire is too small, she can always negotiate for more before shagging.

Why should government demand more simply because a man earn more? Do you pay more for your cars, burgers, houses, simply because you earn more?
