Thug life Tupac WAS an act, agreed. He mas more Malcolm X than some street thug but the music industry is a controlling force. And nigga don't try to sideways imply that Pac was a homo... So laughable.

I agree about the music industry and him acting like a thug, but I'm not implying he was a homo, his speech patterns and mannerisms are to blame for that.

I didn't like Pac anyways so it doesn't matter to me, but don't pretend like some of these rappers ain't gay. I mean, the whole sagging pants thing was taken from the sissies in prison that would wear their pants like that to advertise their booty. Helluva coincidence.

Oh GAWD, this is about Tupac. How did this become a convo on "some of these rappers" being gay? LOL.

You're trying too hard.

Sagging pants was because they didn't have belts in DoC, not because of any gay shit.

I was never a big fan of tupac either, and same with most west coast hip hop, but I respected him for being better than the rest and having good lyrics. He got that from studying at Baltimore School for the Preforming Arts where he studied acting and ballet, lol. He could very well have been gay, but not because he sagged his pants. I'm sure it's tough to find straight dudes studying ballet at an art school, to be fair.

Shakur began his career as a roadie, backup dancer, and MC for the alternative hip hop group Digital Underground.

it's funny how all the west coast rappers act like thugs and criminals and hardly any of them actually is.

He was the hardest dude in Digital Underground for sure.

I don't care what anybody says, 'Pac was as hardcore as any of the kids from "Fame".

^^ This.

A lot of people don't realize he wasn't running wild on the streets when he was younger. He went to a school for the Arts, just like the one in "Fame". Dre was a guy who would tag along with whoever was DJing at the club, or had access to a studio. For a lot of years, he was like those gamers who disappear for days at a time, then all of a sudden there was World Clas Wreckin Cru:

Keep in mind, during that time it wasn't 'homo,' it was hot shit.
