Can anyone recommend some translation services. The company we are using now is constantly making mistakes. I'm looking for the best possible service money can buy.

I agree that freelance is the way to go. A good freelance translator will have experience in some area of internet marketing or content writing, and will usually be familiar enough with the industry to not make silly contextual mistakes. Aside from that, its much cheaper than hiring a professional translation service.

Hi,

You can connect directly with freelance translators in different languages. I've worked with the big translation companies before and constantly ran into problems with out of context translations. Its frustrating when you can't communicate directly with the translators.

Thanks

Hey - maybe I can contribute here in case you are still looking for a professional translator.

Finding a really good, reliable translation agency which offers reasonable rates is quite a challenge - why? Simply because it's a service and services are difficult to evaluate before ordering them.

If I were u, I'd request a free trial - e.g. a short paragraph translated into the languages you need - in order to assess the quality before you accept a quote.

In addition to that, I would recommend a small agency with direct contact to the project manager. Small agencies are mostly more commited to satisfying customers and not to their own processes and profit maximization as big agencies often are.

My recommendations:
Small, high quality and fast: Exxacto (German agency) www.exxacto.net
Medium-size, also fast: QuickTranslation (I think Swiss)
Large-agency: Langenscheidt (German agency)

I hope, I could help out?!
