How do you guys deal with tracking the ROI of campaigns when dealing with advertiser cookies that are Long as fuck? Like 60 day, 120 day cookies? (Generally for online retailers of physical products)
The problem is, if you want to know the true ROI, you would have to wait up to 120 days for the cookie to expire.
Problems Encountered:
-Waiting so long for the ROI data destroys your response time to a market.
-Your ROI data may not still be significant after the cookie expires.
- You may be cannibalizing your original campaign if your run similiar ads targeting the same demongraphic before the original cookie expires.
Any tips?
