TopConsumerGifts - May you get hit by a fucking SARS bus...(out $1,450 bucks)

Just got an email from my AM today too. I was running a few submits w/ the same company and I got pulled due to "low quality score" which is fine - it happens. Luckily I still have all my leads credited...as of now.

Good luck in figuring this all out.

This does sound rightly shitty, hope it gets sorted for you and you get you goddamn monies.

ok, to clarify here is what went down.

we(yes i was included in this too) we're sending traffic to this imac offer in April and May i believe. sometime in June(i understand) the advert decided the traffic wasn't backing out. personally, i'd already been paid for my traffic by the time they charged back and had stopped running the offer. the problem is all the legit traffic i sent in May(in my case a bit of rezv leads) isn't being counted, but rather being factored in to the chargeback. in my case i have like a $600 deficit for May and that includes like $90 bucks or so in leads that had nothing to do with that advertiser who charged back. submits are a bitch(infact, i'd stopped doing them all together when the OP, my friend convinced me to run this offer! ) lol. anyway, yah.. the advert should have pulled the offer or told us the traffic wasn't backing out or azoogle could have eaten the leads, blah blah..it's fucked up..but azoogle is gonna loose business because aint many affiliates gonna make up a negative balance, tossing good money after bad.

as an aside, the advert sent my AM some email about me using a bot or some shit. i use a lot of networks and have been doing this fulltime for 2 years. if i was gonna do some fraud it certainly wouldnt be for $600 worth of $1.00 submit leads.

anyway, that's what went down, although my numbers may be slightly off. i'm too lazy to login and look at my negative balance :)

As an update to this post....Azoogle is aware of the issue and it is being dealt with (fairly)

Another update.

After working with google, we ended up settling on them eating about half the bad leads (roughly 677 leads).

Gotta give props to my AM Matt Mirman over there for sorting this out for me.

I glad you seem to be getting everything sorted out, seems like a big mess.

Happy to hear your AM has finally contacted you and is providing you with a helping hand.

Will you continue to work with Azoogle in the future?

This situation is just another example of a network's usefulness diminishing. When we, affiliates pick any offer to promote, as long as we promote it within the network's TOS, we should be guaranteed the payment. If the advertiser doesn't pay the network, it's the network's problem. We have a business relationship with the network, not with the advertiser. The network needs to deal with their own problems, and still compensate the affiliates that promoted the offers under compliance. There is a reason why they are taking several dollars a lead as commission, so at least give us a valid reason for taking a cut. Don't screw us over, if we did everything by the book.

uh oh, we're starting to revisit that whole shit storm with Jon's epic post

Rage - you know I wasn't going to read the entire bitch post... just assumed that everyone here really understands not to bring the drama until they talk to their mama.

Well you should have because it made you look like a complete moron.

im sure azoogle will take care of it all, they have been real good to me

I still don't think you should be taking the hit for any of the "bad" leads. You had been giving them leads in the past from the same traffic sources presumably and they never warned you about any quality issues. Until affiliates stand up against blatant fraud like this, we're just gonna keep being given the short end of the stick.

And I agree with the argument that we are in a business relationship with the network. Unless there's a hundred percent transparency in terms of the quality of leads we are getting the advertiser, it should be the network that should be responsible if the advertiser wants to nullify any (previously handed out) leads.

I can vouch for AZ. An advertiser was trying to backout on $20k ish in leads a few months ago and a quick phone call cleared it up. I like the prompt service I receive there and since they've been in the business for many years, they are on top of their shit. Good luck..
