Gather around everyone, and let me tell you a tale of the shittiest and shadiest mother fucking advertiser I have yet to promote for (currently out $1,450 bucks)...

In April, I found a sweet offer to promote -- iMac mini email submit. I sent a few hundred clicks to it, found in was converting anywehre from 15-25%, so I opened the floodgates (not talking thousands of LEADS a day, but probably 200 or so per day). It converted well over the next two weeks or so, until the conversion dropped down to probaly 10% or so. I paused the traffic to it and noticed overall i sent about 1600 leads total over that time span. Awesome, i thought, time to sit back and collect the money, so i forgot about it....

Fast foward to Tuesday. While browsing one of the other forums i stop at normally, i notice a complaint from somone about google and how they are now running a NEGATIVE balance with them due to some asshat of an advertiser while running a iMac offer. I decided to check out my own account and after some digging, noticed that my leads for the offer I was promoting went from 1600 to 377 total. After some more digging, i found they decided to do this at the end of may, 3 weeks after i stopped running any traffic to that offer. At that point, they not only removed EVERY SINGLE lead i had generated for that month, but also went back to fucking april and removed some of those as well. This, left me with a total of -1450 ish dollars in my azoogle account. Yes, you can go negative apparently. The great part of this was i have already ran about 700 more dollars worth of offers because no where does it state i was negative, unless of course i do a report of the past 3+ months.

After checking through emails, i realized that I had NO indications/messages/emails/notices of this advertiser pulling this shady move, nor did I ever receive anything from them saying to pause / stop traffic and ANY point during the campaign.

So here I am now, theoretically 1450 down plus advertising costs, and have not a slightest clue as to why (leads were legit). I contacted my AM who is looking in to it, waiting for that douche bag company to give him a report of why they took literally all my leads away, without any reason. Sad to say too, unless this shit gets resolved and my negative balance is removed from my account, i can/will no longer run anything with azoogle.

This isn't a burn at azoogle in anyway; in fact, they have been my absolute favorite network to work with up to this point. Shame to think that could end soon.

So word of warning to everyone out there,
DO NOT RUN ANYTHING WITH TopConsumerGifts.

Make sure to check every one of your email/zip/anyothershittheyarepromoting submits to see where it redirects too.


P.S. I really really hope these fucks have at least one person from their gay fucking company that visits this forum.

There are definetly some issues here. Azoogle should have had an open dialog with you if they were letting the advertiser reverse leads. To just reverse leads and not tell the affiliate especially on that level is ridiculous.

I know upper management at Azoogle reads this forum and I'm sure they will chime in to help.
 
and you def should have went to Azoogle before bringing it here. I hope that's what you did.

Allow me to provide a little help. First as a moderator, you should have waited until you received word from your Affiliate Manager and could post details only IF the situation wasnt resolved. While I understand your frustration, I'm going to be very clear (and I apologize right now for jumping into Azoogle business) but regardless if you were running the iMac 2nd or 1st page submit, this offer comes directly from Hi Speed Media (hsmleads.com).

I doubt it will help your cause in contacting them directly, but you shouldnt have too, this is your manager's job. I really hope this is a reporting error but how in the living fuck are you out of money from April? You are saying you are out $1,450.00 as in this has not been paid to you? Please tell me I am mistaken.

No, not theoretically. You better be specific. If you are down $1,450.00 that means Azoogle took this amount AWAY from you. If they paid you out, this is a complete bullshit thread and it means that Azoogle took the scrub hit and not you. So please elaborate and be more specific.

No, i made sure to talk to my AM waaay before i posted here. In fact, had the advertiser actually gotten back to my AM (who is simply awesome) with the first few DAYS I probably would have never posted here. It just adds insult to injury when they can't even get back to the network as to why this happened.

I just looked at my report for the last 3 months, and apparently I have actually done more than i thought. Im actually down about $1,000 dollars (+ advertising expenses). Azoogle still paid me for the leads, however like i said, they had the negative balance in there and was COMPLETELY unaware it was actually negative balance i was trying to overcome with the recent leads ive been putting in. Basically, unless i do about 500 more revenue with them, im not getting any more paychecks.

It's actually hard to tell still; if i go to far back in a over-time report I encompass some of my earnings since i got paid last time, which makes it look like ive already overcome my negative balance; however, in reality the only way to see im still negative is to take the report from the exact day the negative balance was accrued and bring it all the way through the current date.

Still waiting on the email....

And I know that while this is a email submit and they have bad reputations, i have done probably 20k revenue with misc. email/zips submits since april and have never had any problem with ANY other advertiser besides this one.

p.s. Again, this isn't against azoogle. I have loved working with them and still do, it's just swallowing the entire $1,450 + advertising expenses (probably 600) is something I just can't do.
 
Understand now. My question is when are you scheduled to receive your next payment from Azoogle. IS the payment late? Can your AM confirm that you are to receive payment? Has ANYTHING been relayed BACK from your AM indicating that leads were taken back from you.

I could be mistaken but I swear I've heard this regarding Azoogle before and if I remember correctly it was indeed an error/bug in their system. I'm almost sure Zoogie is going to clear this up for you so dont hang your head just yet. Find out when your next payment is. I believe they are Net 15 if you are not on weeklies yet.

But yea, got to be REALLY careful with any email submit. Bad shit happens all the time. I took them off our network completely but am now returning some of them because I have shit under control a bit better.
 
I could be wrong here but I think OP is trying to say that he actually HAS been paid but now has a negative balance with azoogle?

I HAVE been paid already by azoogle. I'm on bi-weeklies, which is probably the reason that I got my money before the advertiser got a chance to reverse the leads. However, I was left with a -1450 balance on my account; which was nearly impossible to see -- especially considering they did it after the month ended and negative balances don't "carry over" to the next month. That being said, I did about $1000 dollars more worth of leads with different offers, still leaving me with a -450 ish balance. So i won't see any of that other $1000 i made nor will I see anything else unless I do at least 450 more in rev with them.
 
Ok update.

Got a email about "why" my leads were taken away. It basically said what you would expect; the advertiser was losing money blah blah but did not have ANY raw data to back up the claims. It also stated that I was using "unapproved" text; which is bullshit because i made sure it was complient with the ToS of the offer. I went back to check the offer page and noticed it was COMPLETELY different from when i ran it a few months back.

It's hard for me to imagine all 1200 leads produced 0 backend conversions for them, considering i have ran at least 50 different email/zip submits through the EXACT same traffic source (many of which were a similar offer). Even so, there was no mention to me at ANY time over the two weeks that my traffic was bad, that i should stop, or i wasn't converting. That's the part that bothers me most; if they simply said, "Hey, your traffic is shit, stop running it to our offer." I would have stopped immediatly rather than waste hundreds more promoting it.

Still pissed about the whole situation.
 
Usually on Hi Speed Media offers they will tell you to stop running. As things are coming to light, if your balance IS negative and you are basically running traffic to bring the balance to positive, that's severely fucked up and I would think (and hope) that Azoogle will address this.
 
something does not make sense with the OPs claims, or they are just very confusing. Hopefully azoogle can chime in and put an end to this nonsense thread which I think is complete bullshit.
