I want to meet HellBlazer so badly. Would he a be a midget nazi who was raped by a giant black man when he was little, but kinda enjoyed it, and now has a gruesome combination of a napoleon complex mixed with self-loathing on a sexual and racial level? Here's a fun hypothetical.

What percentage of blacks polled would answer "yes" to the following questions.

1) Should the government provide you with a job?

2) Should the government provide you with free health care?

3) Should the government provide you with a retirement pension?

I know that at least 80% or more would answer "yes" to at least 1 or more of those questions.

Wow, I'm amazed at your intellectual knowledge, who on earth besides you knows the answers to hypothetical questions? Then again, you could just replace the word black with people and you'd probably get the same answer to your hypothetical situation so what point are you failing to make?

Truth. 85% of blacks are still behind Obama. 85%!!!! He hasn't done a damned things for black really, he didn't end up paying their "light bill", yet, because he's black, he's still welcomed. Whereas in the white groups WHO VOTED FOR HIM, his approval rate has PLUMMETED. This is what happens when you allow ignorant, uneducated, racist blacks, to vote.

I love how any statement regarding negativity is all of a sudden deemed "racist". It's quite disturbing how brainwashed society is today. I have provided many valid points based on statistical data, and no one wants to recognize that. It's quite pathetic. I do fear for the future of this country as long as brainwashed, ignorant, individuals exist in this country.

My point was not really directed towards you so much as hellblazer who seems to ignore the social factors that affect the black race. It's not the fact that they are black, but where they live, how they are brought up, etc. A large majority of poor people are in fact black people and that's the main contributing factor to the poor behavior we happen to see so much of in the news. If you would put just as many white people in poor living conditions, brought up by parents who don't give a shit, you'd see the same results.
 
Regardless of how you feel about race, blacks are statistically the most violent offenders by far. It isn't even a question. In my experience (I admit this is anecdotal) blacks are also far more emotional and irrational in regards to basically everything. Whether this is culture or race related, you really cannot decide because no one would allow really good science to go anywhere near that.

I am friendly to everyone, regardless of race, but I have to admit I trust black people the least and would let out a sigh of relief if people walking up to me in a dark alley ended up being white or asian. At least if they are criminals, they probably won't want to hurt me.

See, I don't like this because the majority of poor people in the US are white and yet blacks are still the most violent by far.

This is not related to America as I live in UK but...

A day after Obama won election I went to work straight into the room where 4 black people were sitting. I've never seen them so happy before. None of them was American, none had family in US. All of them come from Africa. When I ask them what benefits this win will bring them the answer was "Man, black man is a President, most powerful person in the world". What would you say about white person saying "McCain won, hooray, white guy is a President, most powerful person in the world"?

UK was funny during election: newspapers were very subjective and supported Obama. A day after he won titles were saying "First black man becomes a President" etc Emphasis was on his skin color, not that he's a Democrat or word about his political views. Europe redeemed the sin of slavery, showed that they are not a racists or that is what some people think.

In the world free of racism Obama should be called president Obama not first black president Obama or black president Obama by white or black people. According to UK newspapers 95% of black population supported Obama where around 50% of white population voted for him. In the world free of racism black & white people will vote for the person who is closest to their political views.

At some level we are all racists. Black or White.

I disagree completely. There are many whites that grow up in poor, impoverished homes and they work to get out of it. Blacks continue to use the 'slavery' and the 'white man holding them down' excuse. Then their argument, EVERY SINGLE TIME, is 'there are more whites on welfare than black'. While true, again, lets look at the breakdown as a percentage of the population.

Social factors shouldn't matter. There are plenty of poor white people that aren't violent. Poverty does not mean that you shouldn't take care of your children, poverty is not an excuse for violence. Regardless what the black race says.

Let me ask you a question. If you were all of a sudden poor, do you feel that gives you the "right" to be violent? Do you feel that is reason enough that if you created a baby with a woman, to not take care of it? to not try an raise it? If yes, then we're clearly on 2 different pages.

Why should social factors not matter? If you grow up with drugs and violence then you are probably going to get involved with it for your life. I never said I condone violence by black, white, purple or blue individuals. There are many white fathers who left a woman with a child. Hell my nephew has never seen his father. I'm not saying race isn't a factor in crime and violence in general, but I believe there's underlying issues that need to be addressed.

With that being said, I believe it's up to responsible adults to break the cycle of violence and drugs in the impoverished communities which unfortunately doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Social factors matter, but if you look at the whites, they don't end up the same way the blacks do. I call it like I see it. I wish this wasn't reality, but it is. I didn't grow up in the best of neighborhoods. I knew many kids who didn't know their fathers. They did not use that as an excuse for failure. They worked harder.

Unfortunately, the good hard working blacks that try to improve society are shot down. We have more blacks today that would rather listen to the bullshit of Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton than Bill Cosby or even Obama (ignore his political agenda, and consider him a successful black man). They don't want to work hard, or have backup plans. They want to be Lil Wayne or Lebron James. It is a group that now feels entitled. The 'victim' mentality is too prevalent. Look at my earlier posts with GreeLee. He truely, honestly, still feels that 'slavery' should mean something. How are we as a society (not a black man, not a white man, but a society as a whole) supposed to grow, if ignorant people are still going to dwell on hundreds of years ago worth of pasts?
 
The truth is black people have had a pretty shitty history, and it didn't happen that long ago. Not that violence is ever really excusable, but to some degree you can't really blame them.

I can't even think of a time when whites were an "inferior" race. I'm sure it's somewhere in the history book, but you'd probably have to dig deep enough to where it wouldn't be relevant to today's problems.

Look don't get me wrong, it's annoying when whites or blacks bring up slavery as an excuse to give black people something. What even brought me into the discussion is that Hellblazer basically insisted that there is something genetic that causes black people to act like they do, which is absurd. I guess my point is biased because I live in an area with a predominantly poor white/hispanic lower class who act in just the way you described blacks. Hell, I had a white woman bitch at a local grocery store that she couldn't buy potato chips and get a custom made cake using foodstamps. That's my point. It's the POOR that feel they are entitled to everything, not black individuals.

However, I'm going out tonight and won't be posting anymore. Thank you for having an intelligent conversation, it's refreshing to discuss an issue with someone with a decent level of intelligence unlike trying to debate someone with the iq of a chimpanzee (hellblazer).
