The truth about MySpace?

I saw this link earlier somewhere on a different forum. It has a conspiracy theory that myspace was originally designed for spam and that Tom is just a cover. Kind of interesting or funny depending how you look at it.

It is true that the company that owned Myspace was in adware, not sure about the other stuff. I believe that a big fine was paid recently, and there was some speculation that they were in a hurry to sell Myspace because of this.

I would tend to believe it just because they are horrible about stopping the spam that goes on. It would be easy to cut down on a big percentage of it, but it seems like they just do enough to make it look like they try to stop it.

I agree, except for the whopping $7 a day I am making off of it doing absolutely nothing.
