I'm confused on Ron Paul's campaign "branding", if you will... why start this CPAC stuff? What about the Campaign For Liberty? Why not just use that organization to continue spreading the word?
Campaign for Liberty is a 501c4 which means they cannot official endorse any particular candidate, while a PAC can. This will probably turn into a campaign fund of sorts if he runs in 2012.I'm confused on Ron Paul's campaign "branding", if you will... why start this CPAC stuff? What about the Campaign For Liberty? there's something fundamentally flawed with his ability to reason if he truly believes everything in the world began 6000 years ago, and I do not think it's something to just be brushed under the rug because he shines in all other areas.
Beautiful regurgitation of the msm. FTFY
most republican candidates have been religious and haven't destroyed america; if anything, america has become increasingly less religious over time.
so your option is ron paul who may be religious but really hits the nail on the head on a lot of key issues that really make an impact on people's lives; or vote in a democrat who aren't so religious but intend on doing bullshit like expanding government as much as humanly possible.
no candidate is perfect, so it's a pick your poison sort of deal imo. BUT i do agree with you there is something fundamentally flawed with his logic if he REALLY does believe the world began 6000 years ago; I'd like to see proof that he does believe that. even then still, everything else he says makes sense; he may just say it to at least keep some idealogical grounds with republicans.
You guys can complain about the MSM all you want, but the fact remains that there is no chance Ron Paul will get elected President. You're better off donating your money to local/congressional candidates with similar values where it can actually make a difference.
Seriously, does anyone actually believe he will win? Put your money where your mouth is. I'll bet anyone any amount of money right now that Ron Paul will not be elected President in 2012. Any takers? Didn't think so.

If you want to agree with someone 100%, then you better turn 35 and start campaigning yourself. RP is the closest thing.
I believe that if the msm didn't do half the shady crap they did he'd have a much better chance.
this mentality that you have to vote for the establishment creeps went out the window with the midterm elections as tons of good people got into congress.
What odds you givin? I'll toss a fiverr on it....
i'll donate to ron paul once he rejects the theory that the earth was created less than 6,000 years ago (his real belief)
Ron Paul is pretty right wing when it comes to the immigration situation in this now trashed country. Seeing that I'm apart of a group that voluntarily patrols the Arizona border to hunt down this scum, he has my vote. Very strong on the immigration issue.
Unfortunately though, I dont believe in voting. I believe that these things are pre-ordained, and theres not a dam thing you or I can do to vote someone in. You really think the masses voted for obama? lol...
I feel the zionists are in control, and although they make less than 1% of the country it's their decision as to whom they feel is best for their ideals. It's this oppression which caused the uprise of WWII Germany.
his answer doesn't necessarily imply he's a creationist, just that he thinks other ideas from evolution should be taught in biology classes (which is also fucking infuriating, if Christians want the Flood story taught in school, get ready for some old school hindu and taoist and roman and african creation myths in science class, and at that point might as well just kill biology class altogether because it will have been sufficiently undermined anyways)
Dude, come on, can we have a civil discussion of politics for once without this conspiracy bullshit?
If Ron Paul chooses to associate himself with the fringe like this, his candidacy and his message are dead on arrival.
I think it's time now for me to shake the jar of bees:
Herman Cain - Presidential Exploratory Committee
I'll be going to bed now, discuss amongst yourselves.
