Not bad for small-time local bands.

For some good metal/hardcore (or whatever you wanna call it)... look no further than Memphis May Fire / Underoath. Here are a couple choice songs, but pretty much ALL their songs are good.

I just snagged their ep off itunes. I haven't listened to anything in this genre lately, but this was good.
