Disclaimer: this idea could be a fail.

I'm looking to discover some new music (in any genre) and this could be a good way to do it.

Basically I post a song and the next person to reply says what they think of the song and posts on of their own.

One of my favorite songs: (use high quality)

Not really my style - but definitely not a bad song! This song is my party song - first heard it on the movie "The Hangover". If anyone hasn't seen it they need to a.s.a.p.

Right now I'm really into,

Way to fucking break the thread already. Back to how to do it:

It's alright. Really not my style, and I'd borderline say I fell asleep.

Mine (party song):
YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.

i fell asleep..dance/party music bored me. I do enjoy drum n bass and older prodigy though.

currently listening to mos def

Sorry I'm a fucktard. Like the song overall but I kind of wish there were less/no vocals so it would be the kind of thing I could zone out to working. Another to keep it going, one of the better cover songs I have seen.

Liked it. Although not my style. I love blasting this - it's older but actually gets me motivated to work every time I hear it.

(Adding Lady Gaga in it made it really popular - but killed the song imo. I gave the version without her.)

Good song I've been listen to recently.

^ That shit was pretty badass. Travis Barker is a beast on the drums. Here is my contribution. I tried to make it a relatively unknown band for the purpose of the thread. Most of the songs are good on this same album. They are worth checking out if you like rock.

I can see the appeal, they remind me a little of early Theory of a Dead Man.

But I tend to like stuff with more emotion and energy. This is probably one of my favorite songs...ever. The lyrics are what really gets me.

I have to be candid and say this last one, along with all the other songs in this thread, do nothing for me. Candidly, I think anything recorded after the early 90's is pretty much crap. Maybe Napster is too blame.

Since the end of the Vietnam War music has been steadily going downhill accelerating its descent upon the turn of the century.

The zenith of rock and roll was this performance....

I don't listen to Jimi Hendrix really and his music doesn't do it for me, but it could be partially because of how iconic his voice and music has become. But I do love how into his music he is.

This is a weird mix of styles, but I like it.

This one I really like. It reminds me of a couple bands made by kids I went to school with.

Here's another local band, pretty sure they have the same drummer. IDK it's hard to keep track, there's a decent amount of bands in this small town.

But I've been liking this band lately:
