I found the Amazon reviews on Adbrite and they aren't pretty. Is it really as bad as all that? Have any of you experienced problem like those described by the reviewers?

I ran it awhile ago on a site where contextual advertising wasn't working very well for me. Performed slightly better, and can't say I had any issues. I would be curious as to how they perform on the higher trafficed sites though.

they were just the ads you get if u don't sell any links. and just seein those ads once made me give up on em.

I'm disappointed to hear that Adbrite is crap. I was planning to try and sell some ad space through them. I'm also surprised considering some of the big name sites that use them to sell ad space. I wouldn't think that they would put up with this nonsense.
