The Prosperent Thread

Who cares what happens at bhp that place is a cesspool

Grab a brain dimbat. Who cares about what you care about that place? That's not the point or topic here. Do you know how to read? What are you? One of his paid minions? It sure appears so.

I just heard about this thread and wanted to chime in. The fact remains that with a referral program as we have, there will always be a group of people out there trying to deceive others. For all I know, this person mentioned over there was a beta tester in our program (we had an open beta period in which a publisher only needed an invite code). He isn't part of our staff, he certainly isn't an owner. It sounds like people attempting to dig up drama where there isn't any. This is to be expected on the internet, especially when money is involved. The fact is, we have paid out on time every month since our inception back in November of 2009. Our publishers have had their best month ever, and we are growing at a fantastic rate. This is all because of the quality of our publishers and their hard work. Our developers have lost dozens of hours of sleep implementing great concepts and ideas. It is our innovation that will continue to move us forward. If any of you are going to affiliate summit east (or west for that matter). We will be there to chat, have a drink, and meet some of the people that we are lucky to be working with.

Hey guys, been a while. Wanted to update everyone on all of the work we have been doing for the past few weeks.

We have completely revamped our api. We started by giving you guys access to 4X the data you had before. We have enabled a new extended query syntax so you can send search requests against an exact field in our system. If you want to display nike running shoes from zappos you can now query us like "nike running shoes @merchant zappos". You can also do advanced sorting on the data by any field including price and number of times an item has sold.

We launched a new easy to use API class which has resulted in developers creating some new plugins for wordpress, and I myself released an open source product search engine using the API.

For the TCPA ads, you can now specify negative keywords which comes in handy when you have a very tight niche site. An example would be nurse scrubs. Before, you could get costumes in the results since that is a pretty popular costume for the upcoming season. Now, you can add costume to the list of negative keywords thus filtering those results.

Anyhow, I could go on and on about all of the updates we have been pushing. Check us out if you haven't already, and if you have used us in the past, come check out the new toys we have.

Been a while, but I wanted to jump back on here and share some updates.

We've taken in loads of feedback and analyzed billions of requests that have gone through our system. We have several new offerings, and hundreds of updates.

Our API:

We've got one of the most mature product api's out there now. We have our product api which has evolved to include facet data, dozens of sorting options, and just about any type of filtering you can imagine. If you are even a novice programmer you should be able to put something together. Beyond that, we offer a coupon api, trends, brands, merchants, and commissions.

The trend endpoint allows you to mine our data in realtime and answer various questions. Which products are hot right now, which products are selling in June historically, or what are people in Florida buying right now for example.

Beyond the api, we've completely revamped our ads. If you ran them before, these blow our old stuff away. To start, we have spent several months writing algorithm's that analyze page content in realtime to display contextually relevant products. Our Performance Ads now break with tradition and auto scale/resize. If you have a 600X1200 space on your site, set the ad to that size, or allow it to auto scale to fit the container that surrounds it. It allows our ads to look and feel like actual content instead of just another banner. They also automatically grab the css for the area of your site they are placed, so no need to worry about styling the ads to blend in.

We have also launched a new product called ProsperLinks. Again, this analyzes your page content, but in this case it finds product references that are relevant to the topic of the page and links those to our vast product catalog.

Of course we still have our referral program, so if you don't have anything product related, but know someone that does, send them our way and earn some extra cash for doing nothing.
