The truth is that no one really knows the exact number of Jews murdered by the Nazis.
All the world leaders you mention did not care about the Jews, they had to deal with a very bloody war. Hitler offered Stalin to take 2 million jews off his hands after both of them invaded Poland, Stalin could not care less.
The English and Americans did not bomb the concentration camps even though the knew what was going on there.
One of the things that people do not get is that much of the murder was done outside of the camps, and much of it by different ways. The Nazis themselves were not thinking of murdering all the Jews until they were deep in their war with the Soviet Union, and the camps they used for it were initially built for non-Jews.
The worst thing here, is that so many are ignorant of the history and facts, and that the whole Nazi thing is tied to one subject (the Jews), when they have planned and executed systematic murder of many other nations (anyone in the USSR, Poland, Ukraine, and many other nations). The Nazi philosophy was one of murder and enslavement of anyone who was not born like them, and that included a great many different kind of people.
If you want to really follow those numbers do simple math, today - 60+ years after the war, the Jewish population did not yet recover to its size in the 30s.
If you are so interested in this subject, a couple thousand dollars and 3 weeks could solve it, you can get yourself to Poland, Germany and (generally) Eastern Europe to visit sites of mass graves, huge fields with bones just a couple of inches below the surface.
And if you are obsessed with the question how can you kill millions without leaving anything behind - Stalin victims can give solid answers to this one, since he killed millions of his own citizens a decade before Hitler, however Churchill, Esienhower and De Gaull do not mention that either - they choose Stalin as an friend just after he got a kick from Hitler.

Just because you decided to believe something opposite that which of the scholars, recordkeepers, eyewitness, survivors and general population know to be true, doesn't make you cool, it just makes you stupid.

It is a lot easier to manipulate this, than it might seem. Anything that is prohibited to be questioned MUST be questioned.

The key is not to limit yourself. Do not limit yourself to some beliefs, keep a completely OPEN mind. oh yeah and don't watch TV any more, that helps too.
I always find it hilarious how people who believe in the most insane conspiracy theories think they are some sort of maverick who have looked through the looking glass and seen the real world.

Yeah but the thing is HOW can you know the truth? ANYTHING that you didn't see or didn't experience first hand by yourself can be debatable. Everything we learn at school is written by some "scholars" that learned what they learned from other scholars. As the knowledge passes on from one man to another, from one generation to another, obviously some details get lost/twisted... PLUS, who writes history? Winners. Losers don't write much as they're either dead, or starving and trying to survive.

Exactly! 100% agreed. But when you take a stance that you know nothing, you are completely open. You stand alone and naked. So when information comes, like in OP, you take it purely and you can choose to investigate it, instead of simply brushing it off as some conspiracy theory.
The believes themselves are not important, as they change all the time. The open mind, truthfulness and honest is what is important. Believe is just a thought, thoughts come and go. What stays? The one that observes them is changeless and permanent. So all you can know really and honestly for sure is that you exist. You cannot even know that other people exist!

I'm still neutral on the matter because it hasn't been proven to me personally whether it did or did not happen, and I won't just automatically assume that it did simply because it was in a textbook in high school.

It's becoming frustrating to see so many people drop in here and simply say something like "omg people who deny the holocaust are so dumb" but then don't provide any proof that it occurred, as if the evidence is so... self-evident. Well, what is it?

If you are honest, you will realize that questioning that Holocaust happened is not an anti-Semitic view. You just want to know what happened. Some people like football, others want to know what really happened. In a big picture, who cares now, that so much time has passed if it happened or not.
It is fine to scrutinize everything you hear and be skeptical. But you didn't really do that in your first post, you just started name-calling anyone who believes it didn't happened. Didn't you just simply brush it off?
My step father is jewish and I have a 5-year-old sister who is half-Jewish, so I can assure you, I love them both and have nothing against Jews.

I tend to believe that gassing didn't happened. I do believe that Jews suffer a ton and a lot were killed. The thing is that Holocaust stands specifically for gassing of 6 Million Jews in the concentration camps.
Just to throw, something out there, something that will be well beyond the comfort-zone of most. Again, I don't know how legit this is.

The Nazi's designed a plan for the systematic capture and murder of countless (6 million, 1 million, 10 million - nobody will ever know the actual numbers) Jews, Gypsies, Slavs and others. Until someone can refute that, this whole discussion is silly.
If your only point is that the numbers are probably wrong, fine. I don't think any rational person would argue that the number is exactly right. Let me show you even more gaping holes in it.
Firstly, the term "First World War" was first coined in 1933, and prior to that it was know as "The Great War" and even the term "World War" wasn't in known usage before 1909 (Source:- Oxford English Dictionary). So it would be pretty odd for these terms to be used in a letter supposedly dating from 1871.
Secondly, is the problem with this quote "The Second World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences between the Fascists and the political Zionists." The only trouble with that is that the Fascist Party was formed in 1919. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, there was no such word as "fascist" until almost thirty years after Pike's death.
The amount of holes in the conspiracy Illuminati bullshit are so huge you would need to be legally blind not to see them.
