I have a notebook with one of those glossy screens, and the dark just accents the reflectivity of the screen. It's very difficult to read WickedFire anywhere where it's light out (an office with open windows, anywhere in my house, etc.)

I admit the screen is crap but loads of modern notebooks are made this way.

Just lighten the colors and tad and it'll be fine. It's the black that kills you on these screens.

Wow not sure if anyone has posted this but under your control panel - settings - at the bottom you can change your theme back the orig.
 
hmm dude, no need to go in the settings, if you look at the bottom of the page right now you will see the " quick style chooser " ... i guess one of the reason they make it hard to find is so that we dont change the theme, cuz people paid for us to see it... ( and maybe click )
 
Looks good. The only thing I don't like are the link colors, looking at the topic list hurts my eyes
 
Now that I've recovered from my seizure I can get the theme changed to a design that has fewer neurologically-damaging issues. I sure hope it's profitable for WF because it's nasty as shit.
 
The earlier version of this skin was simpler and better. The latest, tarted up version reminds me of the Fremont Street Experience with the manic neon blinkies, and the type is too hard to read in gray. I don't like the avocado green links, which is a 1970s trash compactor shade.
