Maybe the FDA don't see any money in warning people otherwise they would buy the drugs they approve. You should also ask yourself why the FDA don't tell people about other natural cures for major illnesses and diseases.
Ever heard of Vitamin B17 for example? Google vitamin B17 and see what you can find. The FDA even had the guy who invented brown bread arrested when he claimed that fiber could reduce the growth of cancers in the body. All this poor guys bread was taken into custody by the FDA and he was locked up.
