The disdain for Shoemoney?

I've seen a picture of him wearing sandals and I saw him trying his utmost to look cool on some shitty affiliate contest.

The only thing I don't get about Shoemoney is how he doesn't like Runzas . . .
Seriously tho, I've emailed him a couple times to just say hello and talk about Lincoln (grew up there) and he's always responded and had good conversations. Tried shoemoney tools for a bit and corresponded with his people . . . always get a good impression.

This is how it is for a lot of the bloggers who preach stuff about ethics and such. They don't write that stuff for us they write it for the majority of the people who read the site. It's all business and he knows what hes doing and its paying off for him.
The first time I ever came across shoemoney was in a photo gallery where in every single pic, he stuck his tongue and fingers out like Gene Simmons from Kiss. Immediate brain imprint of him = douchebag.
But after talking to him a few times via email, I did a complete 180. Even with all his shit going on, he somehow found time to be really helpful with advice and tips. Overall, a pretty cool guy. Yeah, he exaggerates quite a bit sometimes, but we're in IM for fuck's sake. Who doesn't exaggerate?
The Duodenal Switch procedure he had a few years ago to lose weight seems to be wearing off though. He's begun to pack the pounds back on. Gotta be careful.

Actually he just said the other day on his radio show he doesn't hate rebills at all...it's the people who don't do them properly and illegally.
I have no problem with him, and not to mention that he's pretty much is the reason why I got this deep into IM to begin with. I'm sure this has something to do with that $100,000 Adsense check, the lure of m0nieZ.
He deserves attention as a datapoint. The very fact that people on here are discussing him says that he has arrived and is a significant player in the game. People don't bother -one way or another - with nobodies. Also, when you can instigate emotions - like or disdain - you can move people. As we all know emotions not logic drive dollars...

I met him briefly at ASW and had the pleasure of doing some work with him a few months back. One of the best guys I've ever had the pleasure to work for.
I don't get how people can make snap judgments on people they've never met before. Just because you read somebody's blog doesn't mean you have the right to go off and talk shit about the person. That's a surefire way to get your fucking head stomped in IMO.

I think the anger stems from the fact that he doesn't share useful information on his blog every single day. People go to the site and expect to learn how to make $1,000 a day and when they get there and see a pic of shoemoney with the playboy bunnies they see the end result but now how he got there.
People like John Chow and Shoe Money write blogs for the masses and every once in a while there is a speck of knowledge in there that will force anyone that really wants to make money to search for the proper knowledge and thats how you get people here on WF, Nickycakes, and other places where the real knowledge is. I like to think of those blogs as filters to the real internet.
