Ok I can see where you are coming from but here's something - women enjoy sex. do it right and they fucking love it. Do it so right and you won't ever have to pay $200 for it, infact you get them buying you presents.

It involves a bit of a shift in outlook for a lot of guys, we're conditioned that we have to woo a girl (expense) and treat her right to keep her (more expense). How about if you invest time in yourself to make yourself an even better catch than you are now AND realise how great you are at the same time (the point most guys don't realise).

Some things that are good to learn -
A very subtle massage technique that makes a girl trust you as soon as you touch her arm, neck, shoulders or whatever early on and that you can ramp up later on to excite her enough to drop her 'armour'.
G-spot massage and make sure you go down on each chick you want to impress and do this early on before fucking her. but dont make out like you are doing it to please her, just that youre doing it and she'll get her chance to make it up to you later on. *
How to infuriate a women by NOT taking her to the best restaurant or whatever it is that's 'expected' and NEVER saying sorry for it.

There's more but the basic premise is to give yourself a skillset of things that get you good results and at the same time keep reminding yourself of HOW GOOD YOU ARE at these things to break this bullshit conditioning of men having to effectively buy women's attentions.

This is completely my own opinion, but most likely the girl will grow up to learn that it's ok for a couple to not work out their problems and to just flee from the scene. Odds are when she's older her boyfriend/husband then won't also be living across the street from her, so it moves to the next level.. and she leaves the house/kids or who knows what.

I don't know, it just doesn't sound wholesome to me, but you have a valid point that there are other families where dad isn't even around and/or is abusive. I'm not even gonna compare that to this, it's just... what's the point of living across the street? So you can flee or have you own space? You can set up your basement as your man cave or find an escape in your own private room if necessary, there's really no need to live in another house. I sense something weird going on, sorry. If you love someone you want to be together all the time as a family, there is lack of intimacy and/or commitment going on here.

Or, perhaps grandma is living across the street and she's taking care of dad and giving him meatloaf when he screams for it.. need more details,

Yeah, honestly I don't get it either. But then again, I'm fortunate enough to be in a pretty happy family life. I just try not to judge other people's situations by comparing them to my own paradigms (I fail at this quite often though :) )

I guess the point is, if there's love, quality time and no neglect or abuse then to each their own.
 
Buy a mail order bride (russian or thailand) and call it a day. I heard African mail order bride goes for cheap for those on a budget.
