Well damn, if I knew this was such a good blog / idea, I would have put it to a harder test with a harder keyword.

Wise service for those who don't want shady looking links from shady looking sites. I like the 50% idea.
just realized i'd forgotten to review the actual '50% links' bit and i really should have, since that is enough of a selling point that jack's put it in the name of the service
indeed, there are plenty of posts on the blog without links. generally, it appears that when they make a post with your links they also post one on the same topic without the links. the two articles are not similar at all from a uniqueness perspective and the quality is the same for both; in fact, i liked the one without my links in it a bit better. the articles are very well done from a theming perspective as well - if you think g does topic/theme analysis and therefore care about such things, the two articles would be very likely algorithmically determined to be on the same theme/topic. whether you care depends on whether you think this sort of stuff matters, but it can't hurt and may very well be advantageous, if not now then as a bit of futureproofing.
overall, i think this is very much the smart thing to do. links in every post is a massive statistical outlier, so even if it's not being used as a signal now, it's low hanging enough fruit to be included in the next round of bestiality google molests us with (hippo anyone?). so thumbs up and i wish other vendors did something similar. i certainly do it on my private high pr blogs already (along with co-citation).
