Prob is I can't figure out what's wrong, fuarking thermostat is working fine and boiler works when it's heating water. It's a real life christmas riddle

Thank christ I had a heater in the basement :D

Did you ask Santa for a wood stove?

If not, go buy one this summer. They kick ass during the winter months.

I got one but it's ancient and wasn't used for years before I moved in. If the electric heater won't be enough I'll take a chance on suffocating myself with it

Why yo no leave message! There are a number of 24hour hvac repair companies that work 365 days a year... You are likely to pay a little more depending on the company for them to come out today, but there are hvac repair companies that even work on Christmas yO!

Turn on your stove / oven. Turn on hot showers. Turn on anything that makes heat (tv's, lights, computers, stereos)

Jesus H people

Describe what your furnace is doing and I can probably tell you how to fix

It's all cool now, I put the the electric heater to max, it's emanating so much heat it's probably gonna liquify itself

You're now on my and Ice's list of who to go to when shit hits the fan at home :)

Biaaaatch! Read above, he doesn't have a peasant furnace he's got a Boiler!

Yeah I just automatically posted furnace even though I knew it was a boiler. Haven't messed with a boiler for like 5 years as I don't own multi's. But probably a valve or lines need to be bled if its still heating, could be a combination of things. They don't go out often.

Gas or oil furnace? I had this problem a couple of years ago with my gas burner. There wasn't a sufficient draft because the chimney needed cleaning. If it's a gas burner the lack of sufficient venting could expose you to poison gas fumes. I hope you have a repair contract.

It's gas boiler, I had a routine inspection a couple weeks ago so everything should be working fine. From what I've read on the nets it might be an issue with the motorised valve but what the heck do I know

I'll report back once this predicament is solved.

no 24 hour hvac repair? man you really must live in some former soviet bloc eastern european shithole.
