Ahh, the predictable, pathetic ad hominem attack from one who rears his ugly head and then scurries away. That applies to you too, Flux, with your liberal use of the word 'tard'. It appears as if you have realized you lost the argument and are now desperately trying to make any label stick.

You used labels first dickweed. Because you're wearing Hannity jizz goggles you assume anyone who doesn't join the fox news cum fiesta is a "weasel" and tries to "slither" away.

Both my posts and guerilla's in this thread have exposed you as a brainwashed tard who is more concerned with opposition to a particular man or a particular party than you are about standing up for principles when taking a stand counts the most.

I know you think you've won the argument, because you don't see hard objective facts as having real value if they don't support your world view.

If you did see value in facts you would try to present a counter argument to the Krugman article. But you haven't because all you have is opinions that you've heard incessantly blathered by republican commentators on fox news. And if you ever do present hard objective evidence, I have a bunch of graphs for you to show contraction of fannie/freddie mortgage buying activity with a substantial increase in home prices for quite a while after, and also explosion of mortgage buying in the private sector, especially after the fannie/freddie contraction.

The crisis really came to head(something you're probably familiar with from hanging out at the hannity forums) less than two months before the election. The republican spin machine needed a quick way to pin it all on the dems and they did a good job. They showed the clips of Barney Frank basically telling the Fannie/Freddie regulators to fuck off and bam, they have their fabricated ground zero. If they make it all about Fannie and Freddie they have clips implicating Frank, and if they can pin it on ACORN as well, then they can implicate the Democratic candidate Obama.

The propaganda campaign was pretty brilliant but could never have been executed if they didn't have an army of zombie, hannity jizz drunk followers to pass the lie on.

Propagating everything you hear on fox news without having hard data to back it up, basically puts you in the same boat with conspiracy theorists(and you're already on hannity's dinghy, so you're quite the seaman), which is the main reason the word tard suits you so well.

Michael Moore's a propagandist too. In fact he's probably the best.

What is typically 6th grade is assuming that because someone points out bias in one source that they themselves are just another biased tool incapable of objective reasoning.

There are a still a few of us left who can see bias wherever it exists, you know. There are still a few of us who haven't made our mind up before we see the facts, or consider the facts and real evidence a nuisance because it may contradict what we've already decided to believe in.

For every Hannity douchebag there's an Olbermann, for every Ann Coulter there's a Michael Moore. They're all douchebags, liars and manipulators.

For every HellBlazer there is a left wing douchebag that thinks that Michael Moore's documentaries are indeed real documentaries and worthy of the label "documentary".

Anyway, as riddarhusetgal suggested, I am a fool to keep wasting time arguing with zealots and retards, quite literally. I'm not hurting anyone but myself by decreasing productivity.

So I just knocked up this greasemonkey script to help me avoid threads like this. It's hot off the press so it could be buggy. It'll take this thread right out of the list on the STS index page. If anyone's interested in updates PM and I'll send them as I add stuff or fix bugs. I plan on adding "bad keywords" so it will try to filter political threads automatically instead of only filtering exact titles which are specified.

I've never mentioned Sean Hannity or Fox News the entire time I've been here; you're the one who seems to have a weird obsession with them.

You don't have arguments; you have opinions masquerading as fact. Guerilla is a far better debater, which is why I actually spent time talking with him.

Perhaps you were too blinded by your Fox-rage to see the part where I said I hated Bush's spending, or maybe you just didn't wish to see it because you were too busy softly nibbling on Obama's cock.

My assertions were fairly simple. Obama's level of spending was unprecedented. Bush's spending was bad. As the discussion evolved, I added the assertion that Hitler was left, not right. None of those assertions are wrong, and I highly doubt you're actually challenging any of them - you just have a knee-jerk reflexive reaction to what you view as the dreaded 'Fox News/Hannity-watcher/evil-rightwinger' which is what you have projected onto me.

I've had the 'what caused this economic crisis' debate so many times it would take too much time to dredge it up again. Guerilla's been there and we've agreed partially on some key points, namely that legislation combined with exotic packaging combined with government assistance(through companies like Fannie and Freddie) was a key factor.

However, I have no real desire to go out of my way to convince you of anything. Now get lost, fuckface.
