I worked with eadvertising last year and now im getting a tax form telling me they couldn't find my 08 california income tax return. even though i don't live there s that normal? This was for 2008 and i reported that income on my 08 taxes. Do i have to pay taxes in california too since the company is based out of california?

Someone else asked this and theres a big thread about it somewhere. Hit that search button and get to work.

well shit i think i found the answer searching a thread but i still don't get it.

lets say i made 100k with this network. I paid taxes on that 100k through my regular means of paying taxes. through federal and state tax or what ever. I din't know I would have to pay taxes in california.

Now my next question is since i paid taxes on it under my state does that mean i get a refund for what i paid my state?

4.9% is my state tax rate for me. its 9.1% in cali for me.

so if im right that means ill get that 4.9% back but ill have to pay the cali tax which sucks but aleast im half way there with my refund I get.

If im correct on this i feel sorry for any affiliates in cali. 9% tax on anything over 50k? god damn that must suck.

Btw why don't I have to do this with other networks and only cali?

oh and isn't this a really shitty thing for any networks in cali? this is a total turn off and makes me not to run traffic with them especially if im gonna be paying an extra 4% on taxes
