My name is Bart (AKA Jerzydawg) and I want to expose Tanner Vaughn’s peasant like scams that he has pulled on myself along with good friends of mine.
Tanner and myself had lived in Chicago a few months right before the beginning of summer to do media buying for a agency that my friend owns. Tanner's lack of competence is nothing short of surprising, he potentially did one of the biggest fuck up Media Buys in the history of the internet. His incompetence caused 10's of thousands of dollars in losses. His ability to conduct business with other people is less than becoming. He charms with you some wit, then takes off with your thousands of dollars, when you try to confront him he ignores you or threatens to get his lawyer on you when he in fact is in the wrong. Tanner had an online script for media buying to cloak and I was willing to buy it off of him. My goal was to rebuild it since it was so badly programmed so I sent Tanner Vaughn $10,000 to get the data we agreed on and would pay him a remaining $15,000 for everything else. At this point, Tanner decided not to send anything and said he wanted the remaining 15K before he sent anything over. I asked him to just return my money, and had waited a few weeks before asking him again to return the 10K.
After messaging Tanner Vaughn multiple times on Facebook and texting him, he deletes me and blocks me off Facebook (typical). He goes on to tell me he will put me in touch with his lawyer if I don’t stop harassing him (see image below).
There could have been things I could have done to protect myself but I learned my lesson. Karma is a bitch and it is coming right after Tanner Vaughn.
While working for the agency, Tanner had access to multiple traffic networks and decided to fraud a few hundred dollars by running his own campaigns with the agency’s accounts. On top of this, he ran some of the agency campaigns at a negative ROI causing 15K-20K to be lost. I have told this person to call Tanner Vaughn out as well separately from his point of view since I only know the basics.
After I moved out of Chicago, I had asked a few people on if they knew Tanner and what they know about him. I find out to learn more scams he has been pulled in the past. My Canadian friend Jason Shouldice had sent Tanner 3.5K for his ìcoachingî services he was offering and received perhaps 3 hours of "coaching" which Jason said, "was laughable at best". Jason also sent him 1k for his so called "Guru" mastermind session and Jason after seeing his coaching skills decided not to go, Tanner refused to refund his 1k and sent him $500 back and said he would receive a copy of the tape. Tanner did his "mastermind" and Jason did not receive the video tape until about 2 months after it was released. Jason apparently asked him almost daily to send him the video to which Tanner responded, "My video camera wasn't working properly". When Jason received the "steaming pile of crap" (his words), Jason apparently only watched one hour out of the five or so hours before deleting the garbage off of his computer.
Moral of the story, Tanner is a fake fraud and a phoney. He did make $80,000 off of Media Buying 3 years ago before the FTC snatched all his money and of course, he was broke after and had to make payment plans to pay off his settlement. He runs around under the guise of being a Christian and constantly flaunts his love for his mother and God all day on Facebook, but behind closed doors he is a vile piece of wretched filth who wants nothing more then to take your money and fuck you over.
Anyone who considers doing any business whatsoever with Tanner Vaughn should re-think this action entirely. He is apparently broke, because he is attempting to restart his forum just to sucker your money in -- what a joke, make sure not to sign up.
