Hey Everybody, first post here...

Anyway, I just got interviewed by a reporter who is with the Wall Street Journal and they are supposed to run an Article Thursday June 29th and mention our site.

I am expecting a big traffic increase and was trying to increase some revenue by auctioning off Link and Banner space on EBay. So far, I got 1 bid for $.01

I even put up a money back guarantee if the article doesn't run or it doesn't mention our site.

Any other ideas of how I can maximize my revenue by being mention in the Wall St Journal?

Thanks,
Troy

Post your url and details in the for sale section here... depending on your site I'm sure people would be interested

Unfortunately, it is going to be hard to convince anyone to buy ad space until after the article has run and you have some stats you can show people.

Best thing you can do is turn those visitors in to customers, they'll be targeted and definately not landing on your page by random. If I were you I would make capturing e-mail addresses of these visitors a top priority

Or capture them on your forum in some way. At least try and get them to keep coming back, as Andrew says

To further capitalize on your site's new found fame, put "as featured in the Wall St Journal" on your home page and link it to the story. Also, hit the phones and hit other big media players so they can interview you as well. Free publicity
