Super Soaker (water guns)

I had this, you had to fill from a hose w/ a special nozzle but you never had to pump.

See this special hose stuff is bull crap. I had them when the first came out and you just stuck the bottle in the pool or under a faucet. I had like 3 50's 2 100's, 3 250's and the back pack when I was a kid. Spoiled and had lots of friends...

The backpack sucked hard though, since it had really cheap straps with no padding. You would be in so much pain after using it.

I just don't get why they don't make them anymore if they were so bad ass compared to the newer crappy ones. Maybe you guys are right and kids just don't play outside anymore, how sad is that.

This is also what was great about these, I remember using ice water with ice cubes in it, really really really hot water from bathroom, and food coloring mixed with water.

Kids wouldn't buy the original awesome super soakers just based on pure looks, they don't look as kick ass (although we all clearly know of superior build).

Right? Took forever to find a decent gun for my 4 year old that he could pump and fire, even then it still had nothing on my old SS 50.

You can get these things on ebay from time to time, if you don't mind spending upwards of $120

Yep, brings back memories. I had a few Super Soakers prior to my pellet gun phase. This is more or less what I tried during my pyro phase:

Kids these days don't get out as much, they're too busy on facebook and subscribing to ringtone offers.

I remember around when I was in middle school, a few friends and I always played with those plastic pellet guns in this little plain behind our neighborhood. One day a cop car pulled up on us, both cops got out and pulled their guns on us screaming "drop your weapons". Keep in mind these toy guns were multi-colored - even those of us with black ones had the obvious orange tip on them. Anyways, it was kind of crazy. We were right behind my house at the time, and my parents had seen all of this go down, and my dad came out of the house about to beat the shit out of the cops for pulling guns on a group of ~11 year olds.
