Scenario: Somebody just gave you $2500. You are starting from scratch and know nothing about AM or IM. Your goal is to generate a stream of income where AT A MINIMUM, you break even. Knowing what you know now, with time-tested experience under your belt, what 5 steps do you take NOW to achieve your goal?

PS: Please don't post if your making less than $2000 a month :glowingeyes_sml:. We all can get hired at McDonald's and earn more. With all due respect, your opinions are appreciated but deviate from this thread's goal:2twocents:. Thank you.

Wow, "starting from scratch and know nothing but now you know something so what 5 steps" shit is so convoluted and self-contradictory it's like psychopath sudoku.

Its another way of asking those who have done it what they recommend.

Sure, there is a search feature on this forum.. That is where you should start.

Choose what you would like to learn and start learning, if you think you will get your income stream handed to you, you are just wrong. It takes a lot of time and work to get to the number you are mentioning, do you think people will give you their ad campaigns and say fuck it, here you go since you asked nicely?

Aff marketing is work as any other, so start searching and start learning so that you can then work on your income.

The question is a little bit ridiculous. Don't spend any money if you don't know what's going on. Do research first. After that, my suggestion would be this...

1) Buy some keyword research tools, probably Market Samurai
2) Buy some domains, maybe 10 of them
3) Write 3 of those yourself, outsource the content for 7 of them
4) Get a good internet connection, a nice "server" computer, and buy scrapebox so you can get your hands dirty.
5) Outsource the rest of your link building and break even.

I can't believe I even entertained this question. Praise High Life, the Champagne of Beers.

I don't expect anybody to hand anything to me. However for those who have done it who are browsing a newbie forum, such as yourself, its possible they are willing to contribute. Thank you for the suggestion of searching the forum for information.

A good way to learn is to shut the fuck up and do a little research before you start asking hopelessly general questions that are impossible to answer. Unlike other things you may have done in your life, IM requires some initiative on your part, and simply "showing up" counts for exactly ZERO.

Next time you ask a question, ask a specific question, and you'll be less likely to get hammered. A good question to ask yourself right now might be, "Do I want to pursue PPC or SEO?" figure that one out first, and then you'll know which threads you should be reading.

Until next time, enjoy your -rep for calling Shinobi an asshole, he was only trying to help.

How is calling me vapid and lazy an attempt to help? My question IS specific, what 5 steps would you take with an extra $2500 based on what you know...? The specificity comes with the variability in the people answering the question and the different ways they do things, not in the question itself. What makes you think I haven't asked myself PPC or SEO, if I specified that I want mostly PPC people answering, I limit my answers, why would I do that? I don't get all the hostility, I really dont. Seriously, WTF, why are you even wasting your time here with me or even better in this thread topic at all.

The -rep I'm sure has to do more with my defending myself rather than you two being Giant Green Arrow Signature Butt Buddies right? Clown.
