I feel like the child should have a choice when it comes to this. The government shouldn't force a child into a situation with two gay parents if the child doesn't want to go.

If you're going to risk your life in war I think you should be afforded the respect of not serving with gays if you don't want to.

Think about it, you're in war killing people and people trying to kill you and on top of all that you also have in the back of your mind about whether or not twinkle toes is watching you shower or take a fucking piss.

Serving with gays should be opt-in or opt-out, doesn't really matter which but there should definitely be an option.


The other shit you mentioned I don't care about one way or another.

After looking through the list of kids available for adoption, I wouldn't prevent any couple (or single) from adopting a child in need. There are a ton of kids who have been taken from shifty heterosexual parents. Give a homo couple a chance, not like they can do any worse.

except I don't give a shit about gay marriage or any of that, there are hypocrites on both sides of the aisle on that issue. gay marriage is not a major issue in this country right now, and by focusing on trivial benign shit like gay marriage and abortion right now, you're doing exactly what politicians want rather than looking at real issues

the one where the economy is the issue that trumps all others and we can deal with gay marriage once it's stabilized. Yes lets keep focusing on other things while the country goes down the fucking drain. Gay marriage will be legal, but you'll be born with a $200,000 debt to China, into 20% unemployment, and a failing system in general.

I'm would hope gay people wouldn't mind waiting until we've righted ourselves as a whole, lest they prefer being married and neither spouse having a job, and taxes that have gone up because the government can't pay the bills.

Don't get me wrong, I really don't care about gay marriage, legalize it, do not care. But you're the one under a fucking rock if you think it's the most important issue and should take precedent over others.

Also, you might want to argue from a different angle this "unity" position was the same thing used to keep the blacks out of the military.
