Some Link Bait...

He has some good points...

Rather than just bash him for his brash, opinionated view we could read what he has to say and take it with a grain of salt. Several of his key points mentioned in the article have weight. There are plenty of "cut and paste" bloggers out there stealing original content and rewriting it with some small spin and not properly crediting the original authors of the work. There is also a neverending admiration of "pro bloggers" who are nothing more than opinionated individuals who have created loyal armies of believers that would take mere opinion and speculations and consider them fact. Look no further than (non-skeptical) readers of Jensense, Shoemoney, John Chow, and others (who are not Internet marketers, but other "gurus" of film critique or what have you) and you realize that the webosphere is filled with mindless followers (aka SHEEPLE). I like the fact that this gentleman is challenging the norms and pointing some people out for being the unoriginal egomaniacs that they are.

This has been going on for ages aside from the content stealing at least on such a large scale.

But as far as the gurus, its been going on way before the internet ever came around.

I'm curious as to what he did that makes him feel qualified enough to bash the engine that has propelled the internets forward (people-powered content).

Not impressed. More link bait plz.

Edit: Audiocafe.com is a 404. Wonder how that's going for him. Drunk on haterade much?
