I received my review copy of the bookmarks.

125 were promised, 128 were delivered.

What disappointed me most about this service is that the StumbleUpon bookmark is totally bogus. The report listed the URL as http:// www. stumbleupon .com /to/3VJqXh/www.mydomain.com/my/inner/page/t:4cde114b753b2;src:all, which simply redirects to my page. We all know a real SU submission would look like http:// www. stumbleupon .com /url/www.mydomain.com/my/inner/page/, and when I browse to that URL I can see that my page has not actually been submitted to SU. I would expect a SU bookmarker to actually submit the page to SU... not even a review, just a page submission. OK, moving on...

You will receive valid bookmarks on such sites as folkd, delicious, diigo, and faves. I could not evaluate the reddit submission as my page had previously been submitted to reddit via another service. It does not appear as though the OP voted for my page on reddit, nor did he leave a comment.

There are about 20-25 other social bookmarking sites with obscure or custom voting frameworks. The rest of the URLs in the report, about 90 of them, are either Pliggs or PHPDugg submissions. Some of them are dead - I probably came away with about 110 bookmarks in all.

My only fear is that Pligg and PHPDugg URLs will experience the same devaluation in Google as link directories recently have. It's only a matter of time before Pligg sites have little to no SEO benefit. However, for now it is somewhat beneficial to get those links and anchors out there.

I recommend this service because it is only $4, although I'd like to see the SU submissions approached differently and I'd like to see sites not running Pligg in the URL list.
