Fuck, shit's serious down there. My girlfriend has family in Mexico. They are wealthy by Mexican standards (own some land, a few houses, etc..). Her uncle was kidnapped a month ago and they demanded $150k randsom. The family sold a few houses and paid the ransom. They never heard from the gang again, found his body in a mass grave a short time later. A lot of people here talk shit about America but atleast we don't have to deal with this kind of fucking terror.

Wow, I shouldve listed to your warning, I went to the site, clicked on some video, 2 minutes later watched a man get executed with a shot to the head. Very disturbed, wont be visiting that again any time soon.
 
There is a video on there that I started to watch and just could not, those people have no souls...

We used to go to the border towns back in the day, to pick up things for cheap. Now the border towns are like a ghost town no one goes there anymore. I feel bad for the good people in Mexico having to live with this crazy shit going on.

My friend is married to mexican chic, her moms house in Mexico got raided last week buy a group of men trying to collect money (extortion) they were wearning federale uniforms, now she is moving to Houston to live with my friend and his wife.

What I don't understand is why doesn't the U.S. use its military power down there rather than fighting in some god-forsaken desert. I'm sure the Mexican government would receive them with open arms (along with the people of Mexico) and I feel like we have more of an interest in Mexico's stability than the Middle East. When does this shit start bleeding over into the U.S. and become a serious problem?
