Is anyone worried about the game sucking because Jeep had a hand in making it? All the articles I have read said that Jeep approached the game maker to have the Jeep be the hero of the game.

Hey I agree, I have always loved them, its still a dream car of mine.
But I don't want to see it mess up the game, I have never seen a game that ended up being good with an external product influence placed on it.

There're 4 different modes.. Handgun only mode with 1 in the chamber, Crossbow+tomahawk only mode, Gun game (with every kill you progress to better weapons), and then sharp shooter (all players start with randomly selected weapon, then weapons change / cycle for everyone).

Just learned that on PC, black ops dedicated servers are only exclusively available through GameServers.com - Fucking gay. They're doing this supposedly to combat cheating and mods (mods can be awesome, not sure why they'd do that), but that's the excuse they gave with MW2 and yet cheaters were still rampant and you could level 70 hack.
Oh well whatever, at least pings will be lower. The modding thing is bullshit though, I really wanted to play tactical realism and I doubt that's an included mode. CounterStrike (one of the most, if not the most successful multiplayer FPS in history) started as a mod. PC is just becoming more and more like consoles.

The graphics on ps3 are completely fucking 1996.
At first, I thought it was a joke... no way could they have been such assholes to deliver this pile of junk. But, as the games wore on - it's seriously some of the worst garbage I've ever seen. MW2/COD4... even the most recent MOH make this shit look HORRIBLE.
But, if you like skinny pistols, shitty accents, crappy looking characters, retarded sounding gunfire, and more or less want to feel like you just paid $65 for a ps2 (I'm being generous) game.... go by Black Ops.

Got it for PC this time since my computer shits on any console in every way imaginable. Had MW2 for PS3 and I played up to lvl 70 or whatever the last one was with a 1.00ish ratio because of the shit controls.
FPS weren't made to be played on controllers, thats the bottom line. Sure they've made it work with all this auto-aim shit, but I'd rather be able to turn 180 degrees with one flick of a wrist rather than just copping 1000 bullets in the ass while trying desperately to turn around with a fuckin thumb stick.
I think I'm close to 2.5ish K/D now because of the keyboard and mouse, plus I won the very first FFA game I played. These kids can't fux with my Quake 3/Quakelive skillz son!
Bitches be trying to pull the prone and shoot when they see me, but I just strafe on those motherfuckers left and right while pumping them with lead. Something I couldn't do properly with a controller but is standard procedure in Quake or any PC shooter. Steady aim perk + SMG is actually really good for this.

It's a total piece of shit. I thought that my TV was set to a low resolution when I started the game up because the graphics look so goddamn bad (seriously, like a PS2 game). The gameplay blows and the campaign is fucking retarded (just finished it). Obviously the shitty graphics and gameplay are present in multiplayer as well. I'm not even a hardcore gamer or one to bitch about games, but Blacks Ops seriously fucking sucks.
