probably. I might get it, but i dunno yet. I kind of really don't like playing rtses for the reason that you have to spend infinity time learning each game cause they all hasve completely different sets of hotkeys and build orders. Might as well go play chess or go. Same amount of strategy without the lol huge learning curve just to compete.

Chess has an immense learning curve if you want to become competitive. You'll have to recognize all the openings and their counters, various midgame indicators, and late game finishing strategies. Starcraft is a children's game strategy-wise when compared to chess. The difference in between the two is that Starcraft is real time, where chess isn't. Therefore, Starcraft rewards quick thinking, quick reflexes, and good micro, whereas chess solely rewards good thinking. Let me put it to you this way: you can get an adrenaline rush out of a good Starcraft game, but I doubt you'll ever have your heart pounding over a chess match.

^Not really. Average match is 11 minutes. All it takes is 3 matches to get rested. Then back to making campaigns. So, couple of hours of campaigns, 30 minutes rest with SC2, couple of hours campaigns, 30 minutes rest with SC2... rinse, repeat, and you get a pretty efficient 8 hours of work in.
Couldn't agree more. I can't even fathom what my life would be like if I dedicated the hours I spent on the first starcraft towards doing... whatever the fuck.

If anybody played the game "Age of empires" my name on there was Dragas, and i had a 2k 1v1 rating at one point.
Im am an expert on RTS games i dont want any bullshit from the noobs here i could pull the game out today and gang bang your asshole while im doing your mom.
Starcraft 2 looks amazing. All the new units are fucking OP. But they have taken to damn long to release the game so its pretty much took all the fun out. Like with FF13 i dont care now, its march, taxes are dude on the 15th april, im tired from SEO. Dont have time for these stupid programers bullshit, feeling they can release a game when they feel like.

I love people like you who bullshit along with me. I have played AOC and AOE3. I played AOE 3 for about 2 and half years or so. There was a clan in aoe 3 called 2k. To get in you had to have a 2k rating or above. All the best players were in the clan. That said my overall never did reach 2k. It got to 1970 once i belive. Here a few clans i have been in.

Im sure if i was still playing and wasnt IM, i would set up a game and fucking agra rush your ass FF, then build Ele, Raid your ass, build up muskets and ele, then kill your armies then send in the seige to beat your asshole down GG.
I was in the top 100 1v1 players at one point douchebag so dont fuck with me i was beating down Pr 32 daily in my prime.

SC players are better then AOE players. I mean Bradion is a B+ player at best lol. Im a C at Best lol.
yeah I noticed it too. It's just in beta but it looks like a thicker original Starcraft. Nothing very special about it.
SC2 is just SC1 in 3D with some new units and some gameplay mechanics improvements
(not saying it's a bad thing, though. SC1 was great, improving it seemed like the logical next step - instead of recreating the sequel from scratch).

lol dude... i can seriously get 2k in a matter of days. you really are having a hard time trying to convince me you are worth something. i played the fucking game for 10 years. and yes AOE is a lot easier than SC along with DOTA if you've played competitively (not an RTS)
