I check my inbox this morning and have a lovely email from Google, which is as follows.

Hello,

Your Google AdWords account has been suspended due to multiple submissions of poor quality landing pages. We are unable to revoke your account suspension, and we will not accept advertisements from you in the future.

Ok, this seems a bit odd to me for a few reasons. First off, I haven't even run an active campaign on Adwords for 2 months. Yes, my campaigns were getting slapped all the time, but who's arent. Secondly, when I log into Adwords, I have access to everything. I can create new campaigns, the whole 9. Third, if they're not going to accept any more advertisements from me, why are they telling me to learn more about Landing Page & Site Quality? Think it's a scam email, but it shows coming from adwords-support@google.com. I took a peek at the official Adwords forum and others have reported getting this email in the past few days, but haven't confirmed it's validity. Something strange is afoot.

I shot back an email to the douche bags, to which I don't expect any response, but we'll see if they get back to me.

^^ Really. That's crazy. Why do they let you log into your Adwords account still then? That is, if they're not going to let you place any ads?
 
same email on three unrelated accounts (so far).

did you get keyword impressions from your test?
 
Google is becoming way too corporate now with the Sidebar Wiki intrusion, changing of algorithm to promote brands that advertise more with them etc. I myself prefer Bing to search on and I think they will slowly keep taking away market share until Google gets back into gear.
 
bings pretty good now, they have a new image search thing where you can just keep scrolling down through the images and the new page automatically loads up.
I was searching for some images today and i couldnt find them on google, but i found them in about 2 seconds on bing.
 
eFeezy - is there any way a scraper could have gotten your email? e.g. you hiding your WHOIS on your LP, or is that email addy there? If the latter, could be scraped. You need to post the headers to let the experts figure it out.
 
I got the same email today too. It's real. Two days ago all my campaigns under my MCC stopped. Then today I got the email. I contacted my Google rep and he confirmed I am indeed suspended. I also know someone else who got suspended today as well (and his campaigns stopped 2 days ago also).
 
It has my gmail addy on there.

I got that email today too, but I had to agree with them, my campaigns ARE all low quality crap. .. who am I to dispute this email?
 
I got the same email a few months back when I was promoting a Google Biz Op, and had all of my accounts banned (they were linked in MCC dammit).

There's pretty much nothing you can do to get your account back.

The best bet is to get a new CC, name or company, IP, hositng IP, address and domains. (worked for me)
