Wiccans don't worship trees. They honor and respect nature, yes... but I've never met a Wiccan or Pagan that prayed to a tree.
 
Getting back to the real point of the thread, the free religious food: Hare Krishna's have the best grub.

I got bored a few weeks back and started dancing with them, then they took me back to their restaurant, vouched for me, and I got free all I could eat curry and naan.

As for tree worship, try looking at the Japanese. They like to tie velvet ropes around large trees or rocks, because they're clearly gods to have gotten so big... Ahhh, shinto, so amazingly backwards for what is possibly the most technologically advanced country on the planet.

Your instilling values in the kids? Where the fuck are the parents at? Allegedly there part of your church, or why would their children be there. Stop putting yourself on this pistole like what your doing is really for the benefit of the children and not part of the religious war machine.

Companies spend tons of money on children and young people to get them to be "customers" for life. The church is no different. Get them early and you'll stand a great chance of holding onto them. And holding onto them is money.

And then it sucks when we're right. You bible beaters get to shove religion down our throats with all this hell fire and brimes stone our whole lives and when you die and nothing happens...NOTHING HAPPENS!! I can't even do my I told you so dance!!! Sucks big time.

I think people who have never gone to church or maybe hang out with people who never go to church begin to build hate towards Christians.


There are a lot of churches that are weird. Just pick one that is not weird.
 
The trick is to hit up the mormon pot lucks. Those mormons can cook! I've often considered switching just for the food then I found out if you just show up to every pot luck they have they just assume you're a member...kinda like the ymca.
If capitalizing on 15-20 super competitive old ladies trying to show off who is a better cook is white trash then I dare you to find me a restaurant with better food than a church pot luck.

I'd say 2/3rds of the kids who are in children's church that i'm a part of have parents who don't go to any church. Furthermore they send them to us so they don't have to feed them or take care of them for the day.


Ever seen a church VBS? Every single time we have one we'll have 100-150 kids from around the town, many parents use it as daycare over the summer.

Yes , kids with parents that don't care at all about them , those are the kids we're trying to instill values in. The schools sure don't seem to care about what kind of adults they are, and most of their parents don't seem to be either.
