anyone worshipping a book should call themselves a wiccan (the people who do the fire dances and stuff and worship nature, i.e. tries).
I'm a children's minister at my church and according to all the kids we have they love it.
You need to realize that in most cases , kid's church in most larger/progressive churches is more like a party and less like a "Church" service.
No brainwashing goes on, however we try to enforce positive values in kids that EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING SHOULD HAVE.
Would you rather we "brainwash" kids saying they should kill , do drugs, drink , ect or would it be better to try and teach them positive values?
Wouldn't it suck, if all you atheists and agnostics discover you were wrong? Just saying.
'To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree.' - Darwin ..

Going to church just for the free hamburgers...
4 kids....
Hmm, I smell white trash
Smells great.
I keep looking at this thread and reading the title as "So I crashed into a church yesterday"...
And then he spent the rest of his life showing exactly how it happened. I'm fucking sick of you religious assholes misquoting Darwin and Hawking all the fucking time trying to get people to believe what you do.
Notice how he said "SEEMS". He didn't say "IS". The scientific truth isn't always the easy answer.
They love it because they don't know any better. There young impressionable children. Throw them a some snacks and I'm sure there all gun ho to listen your preaching ass.
Your instilling values in the kids? Where the fuck are the parents at? Allegedly there part of your church, or why would their children be there. Stop putting yourself on this pistole like what your doing is really for the benefit of the children and not part of the religious war machine.
Companies spend tons of money on children and young people to get them to be "customers" for life. The church is no different. Get them early and you'll stand a great chance of holding onto them. And holding onto them is money.
