So... how much did you just fork over to the IRS yesterday?

How much did you have to pay to the IRS for 2011?

  • I got a refund. I'm a poor bitch, or overpaid earlier (dumb).

I got a 1.2k tax return. My first tax return in over 8 years :)
The company wasn't so lucky. I was really hoping the company taxes would be low with it being its first year and the copious amounts of startup deductions, but noooooope

I've over payed every year for 14 years and both times that I have been audited they had to credit me back for deductions I didn't take. They pretty much quit auditing me because they know I overpay.

Couple of examples of deductions you missed? Or any other creative ways to get that bill lower?

I definitely feel like I overpaid :(

I bet you guys deduct your mfc expenditure as business expenses :D

Nope, but I deduct all of my Fleshlights as "Business Entertainment".

As long as I'm strokin it while building websites, there shouldn't be a problem.

someone has to pay for the free healthcare bro

Our S-Corp paid about $119,000 for 9 employees + family members to be on insurance for the year.

Sign me up for the single payer free health care...oh wait, it won't be free then either.

I just found out I don't have to pay any taxes on any foreigh-sourced income = 0 tax.

Time to work.

Where's the option for $0?
