Yeah I just saw the trailer a couple hours ago. Looks great!

I hope they build on the series a bit and not just add slicker graphics. I'm sure their target demographic is people who played the older sim city games anyway lol, so they should be good.

Never played SimCity, but got invited to the Maxis studios in CA 4 years ago to preview Spore (major flop) with a "community day" thing they had.

I felt out of place when all the other site owners started talking in depth SimCity, yeeeaaahhhhhhhh. It was also awkward being the only one willing to drink, like wtffff nerds.
 
so basically what we just saw was some CGI whipped up by a company that is probably not even maxis itself with a "coming 2013" stuck to the end

Hopefully, in this edition, drivers will have GPS in their car so they won't take the DUMBEST routes.
