AuctionAds stats show $0 since Feb 1st. yet my CJ stats show $7.55...
I'm guessing that since I have been using it since it was Shoe's ad system I'm getting paid from CJ for the signups/purchases instead of AuctionAds.

In Nov. 2006 I did make $30 from 1 sale on ebay throug the ad system :)

I've been thinking of putting together a couple pages on how to buy or info a product and add the auction ads on the page.
Like a page explaining the different grades given to comic books when people are selling them then add the auctionads for higher grade comics.
This way if someone is looking to by a gift for someone and they don't know the market, they fell you've given them the info needed to go ahead and buy.

Now this is where you tell me what's wrong with this picture ;)
(oh and comic books was an example, their prices are way to low)

I'm too lazy to screenshot my stats but out of 10,000 impressions last week in my main ad spot I got 31 clicks and $0.

I took it down. Probably has a lot to do with the niche, but it wasn't doing anything for me.

i've got them on a hard niche to monetize but they might work, emulation related... I just got them up and had 9k impressions and 62 clicks, shitty ctr but will fix that later. Waiting the few days to see earnings and will post more info. Might not be too bad esp on some product oriented sites.

Just so everyone knows, last time I checked there was a 2 day wait before your proper earnings would show up, sometimes it seems more like 3 though.

Earnings: $0.00

Impressions:48207

Clicks: 213

after 1 week, ok this is not for me....:love-smiley-085:

Thats fucked up you should have at least gotten something, maybe I was just lucky to hit that $2 dollar mark haha but the strange thing is this past week I've gotten 150 clicks and $0.00, my first two days looked a bit promising but if the reporting doesn't start to show some results I'm going to be disapointed.

Plus I think we have to keep in mind that we have a 30 day cookie on the users who click through, considering most people just like to browse the auctions and not buy anything right away this would account for a decent CRT but low income, the positive part of it all is that everyone and their dog uses eBay all the time.

So like shoemoney said previously that once that snowball effect starts kicking in we should see an increase in earnings, I'll give this program a couple months to see how it does after the 30 day period but if it doesn't improve after that it would be a pretty useless thing to keep up.

LOL. I'm very new to pretty much every aspect of making money online.. I had signed up to AuctionAds, and I placed 2 Adverts on some webspace I bought at FreePgs.com - Web Hosting Service - Free Your Site! to host schoolwork when I was at college. I just wanted to see what they looked like.. I gave the link to noone.. and the page was just displaying the adverts.

And yet, I logged in to my account and here are the stats:
This Week's Stats:
Earnings: $0.00
Impressions: 17 (lol.. wtf)
Clicks: 0
Referrals: 0

Just found it quite funny how without putting ANY effort in or anything.. I was able to get 17 impressions.

Impressions are just pages loaded with the adverts on, right? Clicks are how many clicks on the adverts? And referrals are how many people become an eBay member??

Thanks.

impressions are how many times the ad is show
clicks are how many times people click on the ad
referals are how many people you have refered to the auctionads system (and get 2% of there income)

You know what Id like to see? A CPA/CPC affiliate network, say auction ads pays out like $0.05 or even 0.10 per click, then also payout a % of any sales generated from any given click..... Is there already such a thing? I thought Value clicked worked that way. One site saw about 93 clicks today with about 2000 impressions, I banked a whole $1 and some change on that site through Valueclick today, even after the 93 clicks..... Ok im just venting some ideas and what not, Ill shut up now and let you all get back on topic...

I would like to see somewhere on the sign in page where we can see total income and not just income for the week, the only thing we've gotten right now is to see that stats and add together everything, so that aspect would be nice.

I'm still getting fucked up a little bit though every once and awhile I'll sign in and see that I've actually had money taken away from the day before, but then I remember that its a new week and the stats are re-calculated because of the new week.

Didn't loose anything it just looks strange, maybe I should stop checking it when I first wake up, let my brain start working a bit first.

lol I kinda had a feeling auction ads would suck. There is a much better alternative called adsense. You get paid for the click and they are contextually matched to your content.

Don't be ridiculous. AuctionAds is just another pathway into the eBay affiliate program - and as a bonus you're automatically placed into the highest tier. If eBay affiliates make money, AuctionAds can make money.

Here are my eBay affiliate earnings for the last 4 months. I'm already testing out AuctionAds.

damn what site are you running that is doing that?

:eek7:

Something to remember with eBay, and this goes for most CJ programs, is that reporting is slow. And since you're working on 7 and 30 day cookies you don't really get a clear picture until some time has elapsed. Don't expect to get adsense style tracking updates every few hours; 24 - 48 hours is the norm.

Its nice to have affiliates that are familiar with the delays and the snowball effect ;)

Someone asked me to come up with 10 reasons why someone would want to use auctionads here is my draft....

1) AuctionAds was created to let users easily leverage the very lucrative eBay affiliate system but in a way that is easy for publishers to use. New users can be running ads and making money with AuctionAds in as little as 5 minutes after signing up with AuctionAds.

2) Geo-targeting - We have relationships with every eBay country programs and automatically geo-target your international traffic for you. If you're not geo-targeting, you're giving up valuable revenue.

3) Huge inventory - The depth of items on eBay gives site owners in even the smallest niches the opportunity to show their visitors items they will be interested in.

4) Editorial control - With many advertising programs you give them the power to determine what your page is about and match you to the best advertiser. Many times this can result in ads that are either not related or worst-case could be advertisements you want to avoid.

5) Publisher referral program - Each time your ad is displayed it also includes an automatic link to AuctionAds with your referral id. Many people see the ads and want to run them on their own sites and if someone signs up from your ad you will earn a 2% bonus.

6) Net-0 payments - Stop waiting 15 to 45 days to get paid. AuctionAds pays the 1st of every month for the previous month.

7) Option to open in a new window - One of the biggest gripes of publishers is that in order to get paid from other advertising programs a user must leave their site. With AuctionAds publishers have the option to open the eBay auction in a new window. This way when they are done shopping on eBay they can resume where they left off at your website.

8) Leveraging the highest tiers of the eBay affiliate program - The eBay program has many levels of payouts based on volume. The users of AuctionAds pool together volume to give everyone the highest payouts possible from the eBay program.

9) Additional revenue stream - Due to the pictures in ads and unique nature of AuctionAds you can feel free to run it in conjunction with other popular programs like Google AdSense and Yahoo Publisher Network. If one of these other programs are already working for you, AuctionAds can be a nice additional income stream for you.

10) Great Looking Ads related to your content - AuctionAds can really spice up the look of your website with relevant content. Between the international targeting and the huge inventory of the eBay system its pretty safe to say that AuctionAds is the most flexible advertising program ever.
