Try and download the Mary Anne Hobbs Experimental Show on Radio 1 once a week. She plays the best DnB, and is really into dubstep (shes probably the reason you've heard dubstep somewhere along the line)

EDIT: Sign up to themixingbowl.org, theres no commercial stuff on there but you'll find a ton of live sets and promos in most 'dance' genres. I've been getting a ton of house from there lately.

It's going to be insane. Went last year, and it was great. Lots of Jam Bands as well.

As for recommendations there is Spor, Ewun, Technical Itch, and Calyx & Teebee (together and individually) just to name a few.
