Hello WF,

...anyone interested in a script which grabs random youtube videos defined by a keyword and puts them into a wordpress blog. usefull for automatic video-blogging (cronjob at night). additionally, i'll add a database with 25k of rows, for example: girl names, boy names, names of actresses, actors, models, us cities, sports, colours. usable for content generation.
the script already uses the database, which means you can add auto-generated content to the video that gets posted.

i just finished the rebuild. its clear an structured now.
i added a file in which i describe how to install the script.
all you need:

x) a running wordpress installation, mu or single
x) Vipers Video Quicktags Plugin (tested with version 5.1.4; included within this package!)
X) access to your MySQL database
x) ftp account to upload the script to your webserver
x) a cron job for automatication

its really easy, and within 15 minutes you can have a fully automatic video blog which generates good traffic if you choose a good topic.

you can also set up multiple installations, which means you can have a hundreds of video blogs.

You know the there are youtube rss feeds, for example for monkey

YouTube :: Tag // monkey

you can create your own by replacing the word 'monkey', and then just parse the rss feed and create a new page with that. They make it so easy in fact to embed their feeds, that' it is almost child's play. setup a cron job at intervals, bam you have new content from youtube on your video site daily...

yes, you can do that. if you have a damaged bycycle tyre and the time to fix it, you can do it by yourself or you spend a few bucks and give it to a bycycle repairer.

in my script there are a few enhancements, such as randomized posts, no double video posting, and a free database for text generation.

you don't need to set up the rss feed fetcher nor the rss feed or something.
