Search Google One Result At A Time?

Is it still possible to have google only display one result at a time, I know you can change it to 10,20,100 but when I do so I can't see where I would change that to 1.

The reason why I want do to this is because the #1 result in one of my niches has two indented results - if those are ranking like 8th and 9th and 10th or something like that I'll create more of my own pages to take those rankings so they fall off the first page.

Whereas if they are ranking 4/5/6 I won't bother.

No, you can not see just 1 search result per page.

When I view SERP at 100 results per page multiple pages ranking from the same site, that are normally collapsed into one or an "indented" result group, get their own slot.

Yes it is possible.

just change the &num=10 in your adressbar to &num=1 or any other number you want

edit: oh, you might need to turn off the Instant search for this to work.
