SD Police arrest Jets fan...for being a Jets fan



Probably they asked him to leave and he wouldn't... If you watch the video he's definitely resisting arrest pretty hardcore, so it wouldn't be surprising that he didn't cooperate initially (the part they cut out of the video).

These type of videos are always seem as inhumane and blaming the cops because it drags on for so long. The reality is that the guy was resisting arrest and that's why they had to restrain him so forcefully.
 
The one fan yelling at them that he didn't do any thing is what makes me wonder what they were arresting him for. If you are a San Diego fan you have the right to cheer but as a Jets fan you don't?
 
I'd bet it's as simple as the guy was too drunk, they come over to ask him to take it easy and he tells them to fuck off or something so then they remove him, it's not like the first time this has happened in a sports stadium....

A political statement, maybe, about how bad cops are? That's the only legit reason I can think of.

Everyone with a little bit of common sense and legal knowledge knows that when the cops show up and tell you that you are under arrest, you don't struggle against them and get yet another charge added to your record. It's just stupid, unless you are making a statement.

Maybe it is worth it to him to be a martyr. To me it's a waste of time. He's certainly not making any money or getting laid while he's in jail.
 
The video editing here is fail. You guys are fail for falling for it.

You don't get arrested for no reason. Most cops would rather work with you than just haul your ass away. He resisted arrest pretty freaking seriously. He's lucky they didn't have tazers.
 
I was waiting for the tazers to come out and someone to yell Don't tase me, BRO!

But yeah, what do you expect of cops? They're barely high school graduates if that. No one with any real intelligence wants to be a stadium pig.
