Here's something from a study done in 1999 with cats I always thought was pretty cool:
The image on the right is what the cat sees, the image on the left is how the cat's brain interprets it, based on the firing pattern of the neurons around its visual cortex. So maybe they think we are just a bunch of giant cats.
